whatelse, it used to be fine when you got the cream of the crop and they were well-educated, experienced, strong teammates. This was back in the 90s. Then came the internet and its attendant fraud (character limit, indulge my glossover pls!), and suddenly, non-savvy and/or greedy hiring managers had resumes of candidates with 10 yrs exper + a recent Masters from (Internet U) at cheap rates! And yes, as you implied, Americans had a hand in their own disaster by making demand after demand. Those demands were usually for things they should have provided themselves.

H1-B visas require the worker to remain with the same employer for six years or be deported. There's little or no protection for them from employers who make additional demands like overtime, weekends, once the worker is pretty much trapped. So it's not great for them either. Lose-lose. Slave labor, poor results, citizens on the dole, some of whom will kill for money.

Instead of extending UE, reform work visas.

Nothing wrong with that. In fact I would enjoy seeing all the fortune 500 companies employe people outside of this country. Millions of Americans have turned into selfish, greedy, whiny little snots. So they can subsist on what people like Obama can steal for them.
