...and people keep asking me WHY I carry a gun now. Twice since I started carrying I've had to let someone know I was carrying. The 2nd time it was in a McD's restroom, three 20 somethings told me to leave.

In the other, it was some half drunk guy who told me he was going to his car FOR a gun. I told him to stand down, and I called 911, but he took off, with no lights on, so I didn't get his plate #. I'm betting this turns out to be that kind of thing too. . . .

piene2, no, that's not how we are 'supposed' t do it. AND, I'll guarantee you this was NOT someone legally carrying anyway. Go look up the statistics on crimes like this, legal carriers / owners vs illegal carriers / owners and see who does all the parking lot, drive by stuff. A study in 2010 showed 1% of Concealed Carry people committed a murder. So that means whomever fired this shot is most likely NOT your 'six gun packing American'.

Go look up the data yourself, it's out there.

was getting ready to go there at the end of my errand run and lo & behold place was crawling w/ LEOs. Crime scene tape out to the road, at least 8 cars plus CSI cars......hope the victim is ok.

Needless to say I'll get my wipers another day.
