"One side effect to all that growth is traffic."

The Rolesville PD and their radar guns must be quite busy these days.

I moved to Rolesville over 20 years ago to get away from the sprawl that was happening in Garner. Unfortunately it's heading down the same path of store after store, traffic jams, and crime. Really sad!

Rolesville is just keeping up with the other communities and small towns that are turning Wake County into a sprawling suburban wasteland. Small town charm and relaxed lifestyles are a thing of the past, money and status rule the day here in Wake County. One day many of these small towns and communities are going to be sorry for causing the traffic problems and congestion which is occurring right before our very eyes. My eyes have seen enough, this Wake County native is ready to leave the problems to the towns, communities, and newcomers who have created them.

"I shop at Wal-Mart a lot too. Sadly we do not yet have an Express nearby yet. piene2"

First allow me to apologize for the extra "yet" at the end of my comment.

Secondly, while we are talking about Wal-Mart, in another post I mentioned that stores do not always stock and display all the merchandise that they carry. I came across the following yesterday while shopping at Wal-Mart online yesterday and found it both amusing and macabre. So I thought this might be a good place to share it.

One day Rolesville is going to regret putting subdivisions on every open plot of land ,on two lane roads that are not being widened and traffic nightmares to boot.

I shop at Wal-Mart a lot too. Sadly we do not yet have an Express nearby yet.

Love Wal Mart Express! Great place to shop.
