They usually have cash, because there is no point in putting it in a bank when they are going to send it Western Union back home. That is also why you find so many people renting a home or one apartment, because they send most of their money back home to their families and just keep enough to live off of. Money made here is usually is has more of an impact there.

Those who make comments like "we need to stop making guns so easily available to everyone that wants one" needs to take a step back and realize something. A criminal does not care what the laws are. They are already going to aquire the gun and use it to commit a violent crime. Most likely, they are already felons and are breaking the law by simply having it to begin with. Taking guns away from HONEST peole will not do anything. If you were to find a way to make all the guns in the world disappear, then people well start using knives, swords bows and arrows just like they did before the first gun was ever invented. More people die by car accidents than gun related deaths every year. Do we need to ban cars? Bad people are going to do bad things no matter what laws are passed. The only thing that can be done in this case is pray that this little boy doesn't lose his life over nothing and that the police can find this guy and put him away where he belongs.

These illegal migrant/alien workers have lots of cash on hand.This makes them ripe for these kind of things to happen. Most dont pay taxes or deal with banks. So that means lots of cash sitting at home. They file child tax benefits and get big money back with out paying in. Then they get more of our $$$$ for their anchor babys. It a wonderful world isnt it.

So the father didnt see the man well enough to give a description, I notice there isnt on in the article. That tells me 2 things either the witness didnt see him or well ya know WRAL will tend to skimp on details of suspects from time to time to keep everyone calm.
