@blahblahblah, ok. So, how would you feel if the city put up decorations, hired tons of police (and planners, fire & rescue, etc.) and spents thousands of dollars...all for Ramadan?...for the Muslims...and only for the Muslims?

Would the do-unto-others thing be a little clearer then?

allinfants-it's called a Christmas parade because it is a celebration of Christmas. Plain and simple.

25% of the people are not Christians. Why not change the name to Holiday Parade and include everyone?

It would certainly make all the public expenditures of thousands of dollars and hundreds of staff hours of police, planning, fire & rescue support, port-a-potties, and all the other city-borne costs go down more like a spoon full of sugar...

What would a "do unto others" person do?
