Hey Red, long time no post? Good to see you back here. Yes, your Pack is for real! They have the perfect blend of experience and new talent and play so well together. They do look to be the best in the ACC, and that's not easy for this Heels fan to say. This is a special year for State basketball.

Buckets - that's the sign of a great team. If one or two players are having a bad night, foul trouble, etc., you have enough weapons to compensate for that and win the game.

Please....do not speak again. The only other possible team in the State of NC, outside the ACC, that might be worthy is UNCA, but they're rebuilding this year.
Also - unc does have some big games - Indiana, and the Maui classic.
Wow - I'm actually defending unc....quick, check down below...is it snowing?
Nice win for my Pack last night. We clearly didn't have our A game. Zo wasn't on, Wood was bottled up, and Howell was in early foul trouble again. And yet we STILL won by 15. IN previous years that was recipe for certain disaster.
Purvis and Warren are THE REAL DEALS! Since the Spain trip I have been thining that TJW could be the best freshmen of the 3 that STate got. Purvis seems to have honed in his stroke, and that could be huge - another deep threat will fre Wood up for more open looks.
State will be nasty this year! Even if the analyst that was on the broadcast last night doesn't quite think so.
Now, lets take care of a good UMass Team tonight!

+1 from a Heels fan.
UNC has consistently played one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country and against many good teams on the road.

I'm a lifelong State fan and alum, but I have no idea where you're going with this one. Long Beach was a solid NCAA team last season and always plays a tough out of conference schedule and Mississippi State is a solid mid-tier SEC team. I can't stand UNC either, but at least pick things that are factually correct when calling them out. It isn't like those things are hard to find recently.
As for the game we are actually discussing, it was nice to see us coast to a comfortable win against a decent team even with some key players having an off night. This is going to be a very hard team to beat if they are able to put it all together on any given night. They won't be easy to beat even when they don't have it all together. Now they just have to remain focused throughout the rest of the season and this should be a lot of fun to watch.

That's what I thought.

At risk of feeding a troll, I assume you are a UNC fan. If so, let me list your team's schedule of cupcakes. Gardner-Webb Florida Atlantic Long Beach State Mississippi State UAB East Tennessee State East Carolina McNeese State And half of the ACC
Great scheduling. Just like Dean, Ol' Roy won't schedule games against a decent in-state school that is out of conference.
