Stephaneffa - the low price for turkey last year was .40/lb (including Harris Teeter). This year it is .47/lb. For a 15 lb turkey, it makes the total price $1.05 higher. The year before last, the prices were much better.

I remember the Turkey Deals being so much better last year?! I got a turkey for just a few bucks at Harris Teeter last year. Am I correct in remembering the fantastic HT deals?

Nakabi, I would be delighted to share the gnocchi recipe with you. I will post it in Friday's deals post.

Thank you, thank you. thank you Faye!

Thanks !

Faye-thank you so much for all the hard work you put into this list-you are a blessing to me and so many others!!!

jdouglas13-care to share your gnocchi receipe? the few times I've attempted to make it, it didn't turn very well.

Thanks for the tip on the 10 lb bags of potatoes, Faye. I'll probably spend more than $1 in gas getting to an Aldi, so will get them at Lowes. I want to make some more gnocchi for the freezer, and that calls for oven baked potatoes. :)

sdoss - thank you for the Target turkey breast info - I didn't see that in the ad so I am glad you posted it!

jdouglas, thank you. :-)

Aldi and Lowes have good deals on the 10 lb bags if you can use that much - the Aldi deal is awesome: Aldi: Russet potatoes, 10 lb bag, $1.69 – great deal!

The LF deals is a dollar more.
