well, I found the address look-up for our base school for next year and we're in the reassigned area and it's...not very good. Doesn't really make a whole lot of sense other than they have to fill all the rolesville schools, so it's covering a huge area geographically. Not complaining since it'll be changed again the following year, but still seems really off.

My parents paid for my education and were involved, I took care and paid for my children and was involved. We did not expect someone else to pay our way

and parents today pay for their childrens "education, bussing, breakfast, snaks, & lunch" when they pay their property taxes!!!

It is past time for the school system to be run by "private Business". the nonsence will be ended, a private will take control and the whinning will be over.- pappybigtuna1

Like privately run prisons that have higher ‘incident rates’ and their customers…err inmates just happen to stay much much longer than government run prisons and have a higher cost per person. BTW, how are those private DMV offices doing again….

the focus is on the parents, what will make them happy; IT IS NOT ON EDUCATION OF THE CHILDREN

If the children were put in a shack in a swamp, they would learn it is the parents complaining and belly acking

What you won't do for yourself you won't do for your children either

my my...u guys voted these dweebs in. now lets vote them out. Live with it. ahahhaha

Hey pappy have you seen the news lately... I recall two private schools closing in the middle of the night and one charter school board that framed the headmaster because he wouldnt go along... private is not alwasy better

OH.... and who paid for the "mothers milk' when you were in school?

The waste will end, education will begin. Thhe parent will be responsible for their own child, no more cry baby parents.

This is about education, not bussing, breakfast, snaks, & lunch

Tired of supplying mothers milk to all these belly acking parents

the 1,500 is a lie... when you require mangnet 6th and 9th graders to reapply then you are reassigning the children not allowed to continue on in the program

I think the entire board needs to be voted out when their term comes up. Being able to vote only for the election in your district is nonsense. Everyone should be able to vote in when all board seats come up for re-election. If not break up the County wide system. Leaving this as is is nothing short of madness.

The board members are trying to cap popular schools so that it will force parents to think we need more schools built and pass the bond!!!
