    These folks are only declaring their ignorance. And dare I say racism?..Never before has there been such an extreme negative response to a president. If Rando & his buddies in the country weren't emotional reactionaries, they'd understand that ALL government is a group of people trying to make decisions, which is always imperfect-unless they want a dictatorship. These people are egomaniacs. Do they think they have any ideas that no one else has thought of?? Look at the governments around the globe...which one works better than ours?

    Rando do you even know what socialism is?? That word is always introduced into the American political discourse by repuglicans to scare people. Quit pouting & whining & put your energy into improving what you're unhappy about. OR, even better, LEAVE NC & the US.     I just want to make it very clear, if it isn't already that Randy Dye does NOT speak for the majority of voters in Chatham County nor, clearly for a significant number of voters in North Carolina, i.e. the ones who voted to reelect the President and Vice-President. Consequently, if he and like minded people wish to leave the U.S. I doubt few will stop them. I, however, like it in North Carolina and we're not going anywhere.

    You know, here is something interesting. More D candidates received popular votes in NC for Congress than R candidates.

    Yet, because of "redisticting", there will be 9 or 10 R congressmen from NC.

    Where is the outrage from the R's on that split? Redistricing doesn't work, right????

    I am deeply disappointed in 'so called' American citizens that want to muster up division in our nation - especially during the veterans day holidays. If you are not happy with your choices of freedom in America, then quietly pursue your happiness elsewhere in the world.

    Instead of complaining about division in politics. Take a good look around at what we as a nation are doing to each other. If we wont work together towards a common good, then that is a fear we must learn to overcome. Im sure countries such as China, North Korea, Cuba or Iran are hoping that we begin a civil war here in America. Such an act or mention of division on our soil will certainly hurt our chances at promoting freedom and unity to the world.

    Not really, no.... China owns a surprisingly small amount of US debt. Only about 1/3rd of ALL US debt is foreign owned, and China only has about 20% of _that_ (so 20% of 1/3rd... which is around 6.6% of the total).... FYI- Japan owns a similar amount and nobody even remembers they exist.

    They should do away with the electoral college. Popular vote should decide who will become President-Superman

    On average, the CBO discovered that the federal government pays about 2 percent more in total wages... wow, 2 whole percent! Book the cruise!

    But again- apples and oranges... they're usually not doing 'the same job' for one...

    OMB also found there was a big range based on education level for example those with a professional or doctoral degree earned about 23 percent LESS on average than in the private sector...

    It's folks with high school degrees on average making more working for the government... which makes sense given you're comparing em to people who often make minimum wage.

    Huh... a lot of misinformation here, and some misrepresentation....

    Federal government jobs HAVE increased, but only by 6.2% during Obamas presidency.. and they were growing during Bushs presidency as well, all 8 years of it... primarily the growth for both has been in the departments of homeland security, justice, veterans and defense... the few areas the republicans DON'T want to cut anyway.

    But even then, there's still less federal employees than we had in 1992 by a small margin... (Clinton, unlike Bush II and Obama, SHRANK federal employment significantly).

    As to the federal employees making more- next message...

    Me: What are you talking about? The entire article is about how Texas created jobs almost entirely in the public sector and little to none in the private sector. Further it explicitly states that Perry was successful in keeping his unemployment level down relative to the national average because of his expanding government.

    If you disagree please provide a source... because the one source we have so far, my article, clearly states you're completely wrong.

    More quotes from that source:

    I am fully convinced silence and action out of the public eye is the key for all of us. There is no reasoning with people that have decided they are right and the rest of the world needs to listen to them, alas, our Democratic Party.

    I will now just watch and wait for the circus to begin, as all Conservatives should do.     I can understand why. With not being able to trust your politicians and FBI,CIA and what went on in Benghazi you cant blame them.We elected a president who wants to raise taxes and require small business to spend more with Obamacare I can see why. Look at TX. Also TX has no personal income tax. They do have a sales tax of 6.25%. What this tells me is Mitt was right. You lower taxes to small business which hires more employees who in return stimulate the economy. You also need to decrease the size of Gov't. Look at TX GDP on welfare a cons state 1.24% and Ohio which is a liberal state 3.56% which puts the last. Get people off welfare and get them jobs and this country will flourish. Small gov't put economy back in the state and peoples hands.

    The Supreme Court ruled back in 1869 that it was unconstitutional for a state to secede from the union on its own, which is one of the many reasons such petitions are so utterly worthless. (the fact you can usually vote on internet petitions as Mickey Mouse, and vote as him multiple times, being another)

    (The court left open the idea they could do so with permission of the other states though)

    I'm not sure I'd classify 50.6% to 48.4% as "completely rejecting" something.

    It's actually more like "barely rejecting" something.

    It's even less of a complete rejection than Obamas overall national win was a "mandate" in his favor.

    Question - how do you check for voter ids on line. Everyone knows that on line voting is the most suceptible to voter fraud. I'm surprised that an organization like this would put up people that did not want to show their ID to vote.     The state of Massachusetts was threatening to secede just 11 years after passage of the Constitution. These WERE the Framers. Secessionist movements have arisen MULTIPLE times in this nation's history. Perhaps you may want to read about the history of this nation instead of showing your blind loyalty to our current elected officials.
