LOL! Yay government!

Whateleisnew. If you had Tricare and because of social security you are now on Medicare, if you try to op out of Medicare, you will loose your Tricare and VA benefits. We found this out with my husband, 20 yr military, had Tricare, is now 100% disabled and had to go on Medicare. Yep, we now have to pay $118 a month when we had a supplement that picks up our co-pays. It is scary to have Tricare or Medicare and no doctors want to see you.

Get rid of Social Security and you can close the offices everyday permanently.

"Doesn't matter how many hours you give them to work on backlog, they mess it up anyway. Don't know how many times I and my neighbor, both veterans, have signed documents telling them we don't need or want Part B of Medicare, yet every single month, they ding us for that $99.90 anyway"

Hey they don't care they want your 99.90. Good news, January one the price goes up. All part of the reducing your insurance costs brought to you by Obama. More good news, in a couple of years almost NO doctors will take Medicare patients. that is the actual plan for reducing the cost of Medicare.

Myself, I am never going to apply. I will use the VA. It won't be any worse than going to a Doctor that is still desperate enough to take Medicare reimbursement rates.

Don't know how many times I and my neighbor, both veterans, have signed documents telling them we don't need or want Part B of Medicare, yet every single month, they ding us for that $99.90 anyway - in spite of the fact that the only doctor nearby who will take us for the Medicare reduced rate is at a VAMC anyway.
