Do you have no compassion for anyone? Where in this story does it say the mother is dependent on the government? How do you know she doesn't have a job? Some people just see the negative in any situation. “A pessimist is a man who thinks everybody is as nasty as himself, and hates them for it.”
    ― George Bernard Shaw

Aguilera was convicted last month on three counts of first-degree kidnapping and one count each of first-degree burglary and second-degree kidnapping in the case

This will be a very hard transition for this little boy. He will probably have no memory of his mother and may feel like he is being kidnapped again. The mother deserves her son back and they will both need help with this transition.

"The child is better off now with his mother. His father is a criminal and his mother is not."

How do you know this? I didn't see that in the story.

was the boys father and he might have been better off with his father than his mother.

The father was dead wrong in kidnapping the child from the mother. It got him into a hold lot of trouble. He should go to prison for that. Now he will have a hard time seeing his own. Its his own fault. Don't blame the mother, she did not do a crime.

The "kidnapper" was the boys father and he might have been better off with his father than his mother. Dont just assume the father didnt take good care of him. Sometimes poor people just dont have the money or know how to fight the system.

yes i am quite sure a man who is capable of not only kidnappng his son but breaking into the home (ignoring all laws) and then tying the mother up is a good example for a son to follow..pray tell us what the mother did in raising him merits an anwer as this one..

  • charmcclainlovesdogs2 Nov 9, 2012

I remember this and I am so glad to read this wonderful news. I know it lifted the mothers heart just to see her son after 6 years. May God continue to bless her and her son. May the man that took the child get justice.

Praise and Thank God, and the authorities who never gave up. Praying the child has an easy adjustment with his mother.

  • Gr8Fun Nov 9, 2012

So glad this child will finally be reunited with his mother! I hope both child and mom are able to continue on as normally as possible. I couldn't even imagine going through that - a mother's worst nightmare. So glad the child has been found and is safe!

  • anneonymousone Nov 9, 2012

I can not imagine how difficult it is for a parent whose child has been kidnapped, even if the kidnapper's identity is known.

My best thoughts are with Ms. Coria and her son.
