Vicious predator like wolves? They are part of a naturally functioning ecosystem. They have a place in this world and have a role to fill. Think of what some of their natural prey is. Hint - we have plenty of them in Wake county, and they have 4 legs and a white tail.

You have to be in an ivory tower so tall that you are oxygen deprived to introduce a vicious predator like wolves. We have little boys and girls that are totally removed from reality running the place.

"How lame. Eat the dead wolf and then I'll agree with you."

You missed the point.

I am in full agreement, if its some animal or my son.... the animal or human is going down ! But now a days ( since we all don't live in a little house on the prairie )... children are at home, in bed getting ready for school or work. So really... dont use protection as an excuse to just hunt what ever!

So teaching them that your family's survival and well being is important ...is lame ...wow!

"Just stop shooting everything...one day the very guns that shoot these animals will accidentally take a human life." jscott13

Well, thats good to know. Thank you for informing me of that, fine fellow. Ill be sure to let my guns at home know that someday they will accidentally take a human life because someone on the internet says so.

"I understand that the wolf in general and the fox may be attacking your cattle, chickens, even family pets.... but if you know an animal is an endangered Species and yu still take its life, then what are you telling the children of our future?"

Hmmm. Let's see. Maybe you are teaching them that your family's survival and well being is more important than an animal given a label by the feds?

The wildlife commission needs to stop allowing hunting of coyote in red wolf recovery areas. notyou

Bingo. People aren't out there shooting red wolves... they think they're shooting coyotes. You can't tell a difference between the two until their already dead.
