He is a General Officer, he will retire and released from the military. That is all that will happen to him. The officers in this case will suffere the most, their careers are gone, no retirement, no other jobs....the officers trying th ecase will not be promoted their careers are gone as well but they can work in the civilian world.. the other Generals will insure that.

Why should he get any more punishment than Bill Clinton, who is
still worshipped, adored and get front page headlines for being
such a great president. That earlier post was before the election, this is entirely a different subject. No wonder there is so much immorality in our nation when the press condons it for people in high places. The nation is under God's judgment and things will get worse.

What you people don't seem to understand is that he is already guilty (adultery is a court martial offense), the question is how bad will it be for him (i.e. can they prove other charges). He could just be forced to retire, or he could be put in prison or he could be given dishonorable discharge which would leave him with no retirement.

I'll bet all he gets is forced retirement with full benefits!! Just you watch!

See if he had asked for those kind of photos from another guy, then it would not be an issue.

More than likely if this general officer is found guilty, he will be allowed to retire with full benefits. This is S.O.P. for the military. Very seldom do general officers go to prison. Not what he deserves though.
