Also, I find it laughable that people are complaining about the Democrats making backroom deals while lauding a Republican being voted in. Do you not see that this is just as bad? Do you not realize that those historical Democrats would be members of the Republican party today? The "Dixiecrats" of days gone by migrated to the Republican party starting with Strom Thurmond in the 1940s. They ran the Republicans of the time out of the party and over to the Democratic party. futhermore I am paying for the employees that administer the retirement program, 3 of those employees make, they do not earn almost $1.5 million dollars combined yearly.

If they were so great at their job, the fund should pay their saleries, and how many more work in that group that are being paid by the TAX PAYERS

For you all that somehow don't think the tax payers are funding the state retirement program, use your fingers, a calculator what ever you have - 6% before taxes into the fund will not under any circumstances yeild 75% of your base pay at retirement.

Damien Thorne - You FAIL to understand. Government stimulus means more of our money taken away. If a job needs to go away then so be it. How does getting rid of a job costing $$$ and paying out unemployment $ cost even more money? Perhaps you should try that math again.

what good is cutting a deficit if it causes 30% unemployment rates? Who do you think pays for that? And At the end of the day, people's lives are far more important than plus and minus figures. If you cut jobs, who's creating jobs?
