If the only sin ever comitted had been only a little white lie. The price of redemption would have carried the same price tag.

.."Its amazing how many "Christian Ministry" folks get caught embezzling, have extra marital affairs, commit sexual acts with minors, or are just plain fleecing the congregation.
Certainly not what I envision as representative of a person of God... NoRespect"

That's because you do not understand that THIS theft is NOT of God, for God or any part of God...!!! This IS of weak, sinful man and the devil himself tempting someone and that person succumbing to the temptation..in this case MONEY...!!! If you have NEVER been tempted or gave in to that temptation or fell short of the glory of God...then I'm QUITE sure you do not understand..........never fear though, God's mercy is greater than ANY sin of any man (or woman) on this earth....!!

  • grammie27 Nov 6, 2012

Do you think maybe it would be a good idea to never again hire this woman for ANY position that has ANYTHING to do with money????

  • dwr1964 Nov 6, 2012

If you believe the Bible, and I do, God will forgive her even for something like this. That does not mean the judge should forgive her.

  • nonemeant Nov 6, 2012

Okay. I can't resist this. The devil made me do it!!

  • NiceNSmooth Nov 6, 2012

Greedy but I bet she'd be the FIRST to tell you to tithe!

Just like any pastor... with a $1.9 million home

All she has to do is just say she didn't intend to steal it and the DA will drop it. Look at the head librarian that stole close to 9,000 books and DVD's from the library. The DA said she didn't intend on stealing them even though they were found at her house. She admitted to taking them. That's 9,000 felonies. Only in Harnett County!

  • Scubagirl Nov 6, 2012

yet another 'fine' christian example! I'm with puzzled....why don't folks respect themselves more than this?

  • westernwake1 Nov 6, 2012

There is a special place in the hot place down below for people who steal from a church.

  • Coolbreeze Nov 6, 2012

Stealing from the Lord....Hate to answer for that on judgement day.

  • puzzled Nov 6, 2012

Whatever happened to be upstanding citizens and have morals and caring about your reputation in the community. Seems the worse ones behaves the prouder they are of themselves. Seems no one cares really until it affects them or theirs. The road to hell is WIDE.

  • RowdyFriend Nov 6, 2012

Yep, proven once again...your secret sins will find you out!

The world needs more honest, caring people who hold themselves to high standards.

  • same ole story Nov 6, 2012
