If Romney and Ryan are the best the republicans have, Republicans are in deep trouble. Romney changes positions on issues like he changes clothes. csw""
    November 2, 2012 11:29 a.m.

Have you noticed that Ryan & Romney haven't been seen together very much as of late? Has anyone heard whether or not the UAW filed the ethics complaint yesterday against Mitt Romney for allegedly failing to disclose his profits from the auto bailout? Just curious.

  • NoRespect Nov 2, 2012

Walences... You are so "on the mark" with your comments. Thanks for that bit of sanity in these days of fear-mongering by the RNC and their Congressional stalemate tactics. Not to mention the outright lies perpetrated by FoxNoise, Rush, Hannity, etc. ad nauseam...

"He lied and got caught, so has Barry lately but we'll see how that goes."-crumpsbr0ther

OMG!! look at what you did! you gave the president what you believe to be a derogatory nickname, a diminutive that you believe denegrates him!! wow, you are so clever!! i bet no one else has ever done that over the last four years!! you, friend, YOU!! should be writing speeches and doing stand up all over the world! clever little girl that you are, you've certainly shown up the president. amazing!!

I am not for Gay Marriage, but Unions, Now he supports Gay Marriage.- bmac813

Yeah....fault a man for evolving in his thinking. It's not as if he ever once said "I am completely against gays" and he DID in fact repeal "don't ask don't tell" (as he said he would), so he HAS been on a similar track of that issue all along. Wow, what a terrible thing to do....evolve in your thinking, become more open, grow. I guess some people are incapable of evolving.

"I have no respect for this guy, I believe he appitimizes deceit, infedelity, weakness, he utters lies constantly, he is responcible for our recession."

No. George W. Bush's policies led to the recession. Trickle-down doesn't work. His father recognized voodoo economics when he ran again Reagan. Too bad his son was in a stupor at the time.

Romney is promising to bring about more tax cuts for the wealthy. Clinton, working with Republicans in Congress, managed to balance the budget and have America on the road to reducing the debt. Bush blew it.

  • Mr. Middle of the Road Nov 2, 2012

bmac813, Bill Clinton and Congress gave us a surplus. George Bush and a republican congress gave us a deficit. Whats not to understand?

  • sportsmema Nov 2, 2012

Romney says he will bring real change - believe him! But it won't be pretty - he's already left too much destruction in his path - unemployed, closed factories, dead dogs and lies - wake up! Obama 2012 - it's the right way and the only way. Bill Clinton is the only reason we aren't deeper in debt - and Obama is the only reason the economy, etc. is on the upswing. I'd rather be in an unemployment benefits line with Obama than in a bread line with Romney.

Congressional Republicans have vowed to obstruct and impede any progress by President Obama to prevent his prospects of a second term in office and they have voted to continue that process even at the expense of doing damage to millions of Americans all across the United States. Today, Republicans want to prevent the poor and the elderly from voting, they also intend to prevent minorities from voting. Republicans have become the American Taliban, radical and racist, they would seek to ruin our way of life and bring America to her knees!

The Republicans have no answers. Their focus is not on the debt, the lack of employment, or the failed economy that they created. Their sole intent is to discredit the White House and derail all Democratic attempts to move the country forward and lift America out of the chaos and dysfunctional processes brought to us by the Republican leadership and incompetence from 1996 to 2006. A total of 7 trillion dollars added to the national debt during the Bush

But not removed from office so - FAIL. LOL

  • Mo Blues Nov 2, 2012

Obama has Clinton, Romney has Trump.

  • saturn5 Nov 2, 2012

Crumps Br0ther: "There was no fail, he was impeached. Its in the books. He lied and got caught, so has Barry lately but we'll see how that goes."

He was impeached and acquitted. An impeachement is like an indictment. It's an accusation. It isn't a judgement. And no, I'm not a Bill Clinton fan. Just trying to be accurate.

  • bmac813 Nov 2, 2012

iLovedowntwonraleigh, Your head isn't screwed on right. It was Newt and the Republicans who gave Clinton the Surplus.
It is Reid who isn't letting Bills passed by the House go through the Senate.
You really don't know how our Gov. works.
By the way if the Gov. has a Big Surplus that means that the hard working tax payers have been over TAXED. You noticed I said HARD WORKING, That leaves out the Liberal base. They are the Muchers on Welfare.
By the way Clinton should have been in Prison for Rape. Not Monica either, BUT when he was the Att.Gen. and Governor . You Liberals make me Laugh, your always CRYING about Women'as Rights but if a Democrat Abuse's Woman it get a pass.
But Obama and Clinton make a good Pair, Pair of Liars.
I am going to shut Getmo, Still Open, Cut the Deficite, Five Trillion Dollars Higher, I am going to bring people Together, Has divided the Country, I am not for Gay Marriage, but Unions, Now he supports Gay Marriage.

Clinton visiting NC this late in the game suggests the DEMS see this race closer then many of the posters here are suggesting. Interesting...

  • baldchip Nov 2, 2012

Quality individual(haha)campaigning for another quality individual(haha again). Is these the best people they have to represent the DemocRAT Party?? If yes, DmeocRATS are in DEEP TROUBLE.

Neither man will tell the truth under the gun. Neither man will do what is right under pressure. It's all about them and their party. Screw America-America does not matter to them- - it's about them and their power!!

    SAVE AMERICA-ROMNEY for President!!

"I have no respect for this guy, I believe he appitimizes deceit, infedelity, weakness, he utters lies constantly, he is responcible for our recession. I just wasted 30 seconds of my time writing this blog about him"
You must be referring to Romney. This description fits him perfectly.

  • Crumps Br0ther Nov 2, 2012

Didnt Barry call Bill racist? I guess all has been forgiven...for now

  • superman Nov 2, 2012

If Bill Clinton is for Obomba that is more than reason enough to vote for Romney. Is John Edwards campaigning in his behalf also? If I were running for office I would prefer to stay away from clinton. I rather not have his support or name mentioned with mine.

  • romneycare Nov 2, 2012

Whoever is trying to justify to NOT vote for obama because he lies and that bill clinton lies, is so stupid... ALL presidents lie and just because they 'lie' shouldn't be the MAIN factor of where your vote goes. Please research guys! They all lie.

"Rick Santorum supports Romney over Obama, so I think this statement you're trying to make is completely irrelevant."
    mrschizzy

An endorsement from Rick Santorum is not something to shout about. LOL

  • anderson Nov 2, 2012

States that see surrogates and not the actual candidates are what I call "fringe" states. The campaigns know they probably won't win those, but don't want to give the appearance of totally pulling out either. There is that last little gasp of hope to pull out a win in that state. Same reason I don't expect to see Romney in Nevada before the end of the race...too many Dems in that state for him to overcome, plus the Reid machine.

  • heisenberg Nov 2, 2012

Clinton is starting to sweat about getting back in the white house in 2016.

Is Rick Santorum campaigning for Romney? NO? You comment is invalid.

  • corgimom06 Nov 2, 2012

So Saturday will be voting and then off to see Bill. :)

  • ILoveDowntownRaleigh Nov 2, 2012

I remember the 90s well...they were the good times. Then the Republicans took over, looted the surplus and created the largest deficit in US history, shipped millions of jobs overseas, and incorporated our companies overseas to avoid paying American taxes. The darkest times were here, and the class war was here to stay. Obama has tried, with no Republican cooperation to bring us back from their catastrophe, and I hope he gets 4 more years to try, and that we don't return to darker times again for the lower 99 percent.

Welcome, former President Clinton, it will be great to see you again, and we will listen to your thoughts and opinions carefully!

"Mitt Romney is the absolute worst candidate to beat Obama" -Rick Santorum

vinylcarwraps23 - Yeah and Rick Santorum was speaking in terms of keeping Obama in office. Please. This is totally out of context. Rick Santorum supports Romney over Obama, so I think this statement you're trying to make is completely irrelevant.
