This should be a re-election effort and it would be if the typical voter was INFORMED. Z Man

Bev backed out on her own...more or less. Im sure the party had something to do with it. Maybe they knew Barry would have harder time with NC this time and threw her under the bus early. That kind of informed voter?

as an active Democrat, I honestly could not recommend to any of my friends to vote for Dalton. I see no change.....Easley - Perdue - Dalton. I am still angry that Robert Moore did not get the nomin in 2008. I did not want Perdue. I did not like what I did when I voted today, something I have NEVER done.....I did not vote for Gov. I just could not lie to myself...I thought long about it....there was no other choice for me.

If the "typical" voter was informed there would be no republican challengers for ANY political office...

It is a shame that NC will be regressed back to "fill in your favorite backwoods slur here..." status...

Glad NC has proven once again to be just as silly as the rest of the Nation thinks we are.

Great job...

Z-Man, you can't be serious. Bev would have lost in a landslide. She was one of the most unpopular governors we have EVER had. Scandals and bad decisions abounded. Walter Dalter is suffering the same fate as Bev although probably with more votes.

This should be a re-election effort and it would be if the typical voter was INFORMED.

McCrory is the clear choice for North Carolina. The last thing we need is Dalton...who is just Perdue Part 2.

I do not think libs can argue the fact that Perdue followed by Dalton would be double trouble for our state. I hope and pray that the new administrations coming in will begin to repair many years of damage. That includes Mr. Romney.

Regardless of who win, God is still in control!!!

nice safe reporting there WRAL!!!!

Very nice! NC is tired of liberal governors after so many years.
