Dems on track to retain 52 Senate Seats. Up 2 Seats since the GOP has been not doing so well with their "legitimate" campaigns...

MakoII not only that but the GOP canidates that were "all in" with the Rmoney express, just bailed at the last stop, to funny.....they are jumping ship like a smart rats does....

"People, do you want to hand control back to the party that had us facing a $2.5 billion deficit going into 2011? - faperrigo

Dude didn't even mention the fact that we had a $3B surplus from '06-'07 that we COULD have put into a rainy-day fund, on one-time expenses (bldgs., roads, bridges, etc.), or God-forbid on tax refunds. But no, our Democratic Governor, House, and Senate decided to spend every penney of it on residual items. So, when the "rain" came, we had no surplus AND had to pay for all the additional spending. Yeah right, let's put 'em back in power.

Learn to think and vote independently people!

dixieboy September 20, 2012 2:56 p.m.........Ya got that right, vote independent and make a choice.

While I like the cuts they made and the effort, it wasn't enough. Still too many bloated agencies. But at the same time they've sold us out to Corp. America. Not saying the other party wouldn't of done the same.

The GOP put people out of work in this state. They cut state employees, adding to the Unemployment rate.

They didn't pass a jobs bill.

They didn't improve infrastructure.

They cut higher Education, directly going against the State Constitution.

I voted for the GOP in 2010 to break the cycle of corrupt Democrats, not to break North Carolina's back.

Guess I won't do THAT again...

Wishful thinking on taking back the senate. People, do you want to hand control back to the party that had us facing a $2.5 billion deficit going into 2011? That did a horrible job of running the Employment Security Commission and the Division of Medicaid? Who can not agree with putting $1 billion back into the pockets of taxpayer is good for the economy? ALL small businesses will get a tax exemption from their first $50k of income. That is very beneficial. Liberal leadership isn't the answer for NC. If so, they would not have lost the elections of 2010.

The Republicans have done NOTHING to help the economy in NC.

They will only help their own economies.

'Why? To force more social legislation down our throats?"

hard to imagine how more "dark ages " they could become but I'm sure they'll try.

"The Washington Examiner says 31 Obama campaign bundlers received clean-energy loans and grants totaling more than $16 billion. The auto bailout favored the United Auto Workers -- over secured creditors -- and eight of the 10 states getting the most contracts from the stimulus program were heavily Democratic." And this is who you people refuse to fire!!!

"Learn to think and vote independently people!"

I already can think and this will lead to a vote for Obama and the democrats this time....
