Well? How did you do at Harris Teeter Super Doubles today?

Share your totals, favorite deals and any shopping experiences here!

I shopped at the Cary Towne Center HT this morning about 11 am Sunday and there was still pretty good stock on the shelves. I got everything I wanted, which is very unusual for that late in the day. There were not many couponers there at all. My cashier Maria was super nice!

I bought multiples of A&H laundry detergent, Mariani banana chips, Barilla Protein pasta, Powerbars, Maybelline brow (free with $2 coupon available to print a couple weeks ago), Coconut water, Tyson Naturals chicken, Challenge cream cheese, Yoplait, Mission tortillas, Suave body wash (on sale for $1.50 - $1/2 printable from a couple weeks ago = .50 each), Dole Mixations, Minute Maid juice boxes.

Here are my totals:

Subtotal before sales and coupon: $80.03

Amount Saved: $63.47

Total Paid: $16.56

Total Saved: 80%

i got to HT in wake forest abt 9am, and the shelves were empty on many of the items already. very disappointed

i agree with VLynn, kroger has the worst cust service even at corporate level. i have asked for a regional mgr to get in touch with me over 5 times since 3-2, still nothing. a supv hung up on me, while training a cust service person the last time i called. i have also noticed the HT is becoming more like kroger as well. very disappointing. today i saved over 40 some dollars, my bill was close to 50.00 and i paid abt 7.00. i got a surprise 10.00 off my bill, i guess they were doing 10/50. and with my coupons. i did not feel the deals or what they were offering was very good this time. i have noticed that many of the same products at both stores, they are higher, by 2-3 dollars more at HT. Sprouts has a great deal on cantaloupe, .99.

Very sadly, the best employee at HT for years (Sunset Lake) told me she's ready to quit, 4 managers in the last year! Store is not as clean as it always was, nor stocked well (not just specials items).
When you have a top notch employee who's been there for years and she's ready to throw in the towel, it's bad.

THOMASG & OBSERVANT: I'm glad someone is finding the good employees at Kroger, because I seem to find all the bad ones :-) I don't shop there unless I have no other option. And, I definitely agree with COUPONSAREFOUNDMONEY, I'm starting to notice the Kroger attitude creep at HT, lately with a lot of new employees. I don't think customer service is being emphasized as much in training as it used to be at HT. It's very disappointing to me.

    OBSERVANT - I totally agree .
The Kroger employees I have dealt with have always been helpful to me and very apologetic when an item or a coupon did not scan properly

  • observant Apr 2, 2017

I have always found Kroger employees courteous and very helpful .
If an item did not ring up properly and I had to return to the store to get it corrected , I have been given a gift card for my time and trouble .

sarahoconnor - I am sure it is much easier for them without rainchecks. And they are probably having to write very few of them at all anymore. Thanks for the heads up on the Kellogg's not coming off.

I shopped at the Falls Pointe HT at 8:30 and it wasn't busy at all. They were out of the juicy Juice Splashers, but had everything else I wanted. I only saved about 65% because I was buying produce and meat. I did notice when I got home that my Kellogg's promotional $5 didn't subtract so I'll have to go back. Everyone at my HT is always so courteous and helpful. I hate to hear that others have bad experiences. The cashier did tell me that Super Doubles is so much more enjoyable without RainChecks.

couponsarefoundmoney - thanks so much for posting your experience this morning, but I am sorry it was not at all pleasant.

I am heading to HT in a bit and wondering what I will find. Hopefully more registers will be open.
