Share your Super Doubles totals here!

Posted June 30, 2015

Faye's Super Doubles shopping trip for $15.80.

Here's the place to share your Harris Teeter Super Doubles receipt totals, tell us your favorite deals and share any funny, crazy or fabulous experiences during the event!

Let's hear it - how did you do?

You can see the full list of deals at the link above.

I shopped at the Haddon Hall Harris Teeter in Apex on Sunday. They were pretty well stocked and very friendly.

I focused on buying things we use often that were very good deals. I was not just shopping for all the freebies I could find. As you can see, I did not get a cart full of junk. This shop included healthy options like tofu, veggie burgers, yogurt (minus the M&M's topping for the yogurt!) and more. I also stocked up on items we use a lot like Hefty bags, Tabasco, cooking spray, BBQ sauce, salad dressing, rice chips & Playtex. We even tried the new Gevalia iced coffee (free with coupon) and it's very good. I don't usually like coffee, but this was tasty. It's probably also why I am wide awake and blogging at 1 am.

Here are my totals for the many items you see in the photo above:

Subtotal before sales and coupons: $85.42

Saved: $69.62

Total Paid: $15.80

% saved: 81%

I actually used an Amex gift card I got for my birthday so I really paid nothing!

I finally made my HT SD trip. I got a lot of high priced items (like dry cat food, Diamond Almonds, Aveeno, Pantene). The total was around $120 but $73 oop. Not great but not bad either.

I thought one time during super double that a buy one, get one free coupon i got both items free, because it doubled. Last time i tried it, it didn't double. So, what gives?? Can't see that discussed in the policy. Thanks.

It's the last day of Super Doubles! Are you doing one last shop?

I am passing on shopping today. Too much work to do and not enough time to travel to the closest HT. Looking forward to the day I live closer to a Harris Teeter (or I move to the mountains - or both! lol).

    Happy shopping everyone!

Thanks Faye ! I thought 3 like coupons was the limit for doubling but i was wrong about the printed ones . Great job on your HT buys so far !

GranOFTwenty - here is the info from their coupon policy online. Hope that helps. :-)

"We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value. Like items include all flavors. "

"With the purchase of three like manufacturer’s products, we accept three Internet coupons, per store, per day. "

Here is the link to the full policy:

My apologizes for asking so many questions - I am trying to get the different stores coupon policies straight .
Thank You for helping an older lady
QUESTION : How many coupons per like items does HT allow per purchase ( or per day ( if the maximium of 20 has not been reached yet )??
How about internet /printed coupons ?
again THANK YOU for replying !!

I went to the HT in Cary on Tryon and Walnut this morning and they had fairly good stock. I was able to use 20 coupons. Still no Oxiclean to be found. They are out at the warehouse. But I did finally find 2 Hefty plates packs. They were the last 2 but I was happy to find them. No Hefty bags at that store, though. Happy shopping everyone!
