Well - let's hear it! How did you do at Harris Teeter Super Doubles?

This is the place to share your receipt totals, how much you saved, crazy shopping experiences and all things Super Doubles!

For the full list of all the fabulous Super Doubles deals, click the link for Updated: Harris Teeter Super Doubles List.

Here are my totals from my shop Wednesday morning:

Total before sales and coupons: $74.12

Total saved: $74.10

Total spent: 2 cents!

Even I was surprised at that total! I had coupons for everything you see in the photo and then I also had a CVS Extrabucks reward (most Harris Teeter store's accept them as a competitor's coupon).

My thanks to Harris Teeter for offering this excellent promotion again!

gmjaime, I actually mix my coupons up, separating the 3 like coupons with others. This eliminates them sticking together. Of course depending on the cashier, sometimes they sort them back together. It is difficult to make sure they all scan since the cashier wants to talk to you and you are trying to count. We all want to be friendly with our cashier. Sometimes I ask the cashier to slow down when doing my coupons so I can make sure they all work. Learned that from Faye, like all the others things I know about coupons. Hope this will help you.

Great savings, Momoff1! 73% is impressive! Thank you for sharing them.

gmjaime - I agree with RFB - you still did great! I try to remember to count the coupons as the cashier scans them so I make sure they all get scanned. Those coupons can stick together so I watch as each one is scanned to make sure the cashier scans all the multiples of a coupon.

Thanks again to everyone for sharing! Only 1 day to go!

I am actually done shopping this HT event. I shopped 4 times during this promo and am very happy with all the veggie burgers, bread and Chobani in my fridge and freezer! Only my first day's receipt was super low. All the rest were in the $20 - $30 range because of products like veggie burgers and non-coupon good deals (like the e-vic eggs and cheese).

GMJAIME- that's still great! I used to have that happen to my coupons too (they'd stick together). So now I fan them out in several layers before I hand them to them to make sure that none get missed :)

Ichecked my receipt after getting home and realized only 17 of my 20 Q's were scanned and another one did not double. Iihad two like Q's and the other one was scanned and doubled. Wondering if some stuck together or did't take when scanned. Will see what CS will do as it was a lose of 7.50. Otherwise, a good trip.... Spent 24.42 and saved 68.21. Even better if the 7.50 is refunded.

Thank y'all. I save $67 on things I was going to buy anyway. I did my shopping around 10 pm last night at the Grande Heights store and had the store pretty much to myself. All of the employees were super nice and helpful. I think they could tell I was new to this. The selves were well stocked.

Depending on what coupons are in Sunday's paper, I might try this again.

Ascherer, I don't think I've ever had the super low OOP number. While everything I buy is on sale and most have a coupon, and the price is very good, it doesn't make it free. I think a lot of folks focus on the freebies, which is great! Who doesn't love free! However, a lot of the free stuff are not things I need or use, so I skip those.

I finally got to HT today for my first SD trip. I got some really good prices on the stuff I bought, which included a lot of H&BA items, but the only close to free thing I got was a couple of loaves of Arnold bread. I also bought boneless chicken breasts ($1.99/b) and some produce. My OOP was about $88 and my savings were about $97. So, about 52%. Considering that I've been really struggling lately to keep my savings at 40%, I was fairly satisfied.
