Harris Teeter Super Doubles shop 8-12-15

Here's the place to share your Harris Teeter Super Doubles totals, what you bought and any interesting shopping experiences.

How did you do?

Feel free to post photos of your great deals on our Smart Shopper Facebook page. I'd love to see them!

I went to Harris Teeter at 11 am on Wednesday morning and scored some super deals! You can see everything I bought in the photo above including Morningstar Farms veggie burgers, Al Fresco chicken burgers (BOGO with $2 coupon available a while ago = FREE!), yogurt, soap, pasta, bread, hair gel, cream cheese, shave gel and more!

I used coupons for everything I bought plus I had a competitor's coupon from CVS, which is why the total is so low.

Here are my totals:

Subtotal before sales and coupons: $85.66

Total save: $84.76

Total after sales and coupons: 90 cents!

AND I had a Staples Visa gift card from a past rebate that had about $2 left on it so my total was FREE!

Thanks again to everyone for sharing your HT SD totals this week! You all saved so much money and I really enjoyed reading all of your posts! I only made it to HT once this week, but I'll step it up for the next SD event. :-)

I actually used 20 coupons today to my amazement. Got some soap for my nursing home project and some frozen items - used 2 rain checks (love them). Of course some more All. I am running out of space to store the All but at that price, I could not turn it down. My grandson was with me and he choose some items he wanted for breakfast when school starts so that was great. This was a great super doubles thanks to you Faye. You are awesome!!!

Went to HT in Wilson this morning 7:30am before work, shelves are so-so as far as stocked. I had a couple of items I wanted to get, today the cashier didn't really double check my coupons like yesterday ( cashier went over everyone of my coupons) today it was fine. Even on that said DND doubled. $66.48 OOP $14.06 Only used 14 coupons
4 -- Muller Greek Yogurt ( these are really good) 6 - Old orchard juices - 2 swiffers refill - 3 Rachel Ray dog treats - 2 67th Gen. Dish Detro. -- 1 Axe shampoo -- 2 Suave kids shampoo

All in all this SD was an extremely good week. I always buy more than I need, always fearing HT will send SD!!!

Hold on to your raincheck since they never expire. I have used mine a year or more after. This SD i scored free Oxiclean detergent because I had a RC for bogo.

Thanks for the birthday wish Faye. Another 100 point code became available today. That coupon I printed as a result of the first 100 bonus points is the only one I used today. Stores were still out of stuff. They sure don't make much of an effort to restock do they. Got a raincheck for the Horizon M&C but who knows if I will ever use it. A lot of these coupons never come out again so the raincheck has no coupon to match up with in a future event.

I shop at HT in Wilson also, this morning they were really checking my coupons. I really try to be honest with my coupons and buy what the coupon is for. When I do make a mistake it embarrasses me. Afraid that the people misusing coupons are going to hurt the people that are honest. Went to HT 4 times spent $386.00 oop, $91.10, still reached my goal of 75% savings. Got some produce and meats which made my total a little higher. THANK YOU FAYE FOR ALL THE WORK YOU DO FOR EVERYONE.

If you register at, there are high value coupons there ($1 or 75 cents off ONE box of cereal, garbage bags, etc) that pair with things on sale in the box tops promotion at HT.
