hailey1290 - I have been told that the newspapers are not allowed to sell just the coupon inserts. You have to buy the whole paper. Some newspapers offer a deal for additional Sunday papers, but not just for the coupon inserts. And because the manufacturer's and the CIC both discourage "selling" of coupons, I do not recommend coupon clipping sites on the blog so that's why you won't see me posting about them.

I recommend speaking with your friends, neighbors and co-workers to ask them to give you their coupon inserts after they take out the coupons they want. You can do the same for them. Many people have coupon baskets at work or their religious organization where people can leave coupons they won't be using.

I found all of those places but I was told that Fayetteville and Charlotte observer has it where you can buy just the inserts

Hailey-and if I misunderstood your question and you were searching for just single coupons to purchase instead of whole inserts you will want to order from klip2save.com. Those single q's start at .08 and shipping is $1-$2.

Hailey1290-I have used sundaycouponinserts.com on a number of occasions to order old inserts. The inserts cost anywhere from .45(older)-.85(newer) for a single insert and they also sell "combo packs" starting at $9.xx. The shipping is about $3 for standard 5-7 days or if you need it sooner I believe it's like $5-7 but don't quote me on that one....I normally do the 5-7 day shipping. The inserts come from Florida (tampa I believe) Hope that helps :)

An odd tip but it works for me - when you need to take your recyclable bags to the store - just put them in your reusable bags. That way you remember to drop them off. I even recycle TP and PT bags. I just tie them in knots and put the in with the recyclable bags. They don't take up as much room that way. I wish there was a way to quit using plastic bags but I don't want a gallon of milk or meats put in the reusable bags without them in the plastic ones. I don't mind washing my reusable bags once a month but I don't want to have to do it multiple times weekly.

I checked around on Monday for leftover Easter candy. Very very slim pickins. Nary a black jelly bean to be found anywhere! Good thing I was well stocked. LOL There wasn't even much in the way of chocolate stuff.

Easter clearance update: My local Walmart had Easter clearance at 75% off Friday evening including plastic eggs, baskets, gift bags, buckets (these would be good for the beach this summer) and egg dyeing kits. Did not see any candy....sadly.

Vlynn - thanks for the store info and for sharing your super deal on M&M's!

Raesmom - Thanks for the info!

Faye, I was at the 40/42 McDonalds. Not sure what they consider competitors. Not sure if a drugstore would count :-) It was a pretty big sign on the door.
