thrift - I am glad it is still going on and you could get it. Kroger has a bunch of good produce and meat deals lately so you could really make that $25 go a long way.

Thanks Faye & mothar. I called Krogers & they still offer 25.00 for prescription xfer!! :) Went & got it! Thanks again.

Thrift, the Harris Teeter at Tryon had a sign on the door about gas cards with a prescription transfer but I don't know the details

Heads up! There is a Swag Code available today until 3 pm for 2 Swag Bucks!

    Code: YouCanBeatIt

Thrift - There was a coupon in the Rite Aid ad last week for 2500 Plenti points for each prescription when you transfer up to 2 prescriptions to Rite Aid with the coupon in the ad. Coupon expires 6/13/15.

Kroger has had an ongoing offer for $25 credit added to your Kroger card to spend in the store when you transfer a prescription. You may want to call and see if it is still going on. Harris Teeter had one recently that may still be going on as well.

There are no other new script promos in the paper today that I saw.

Faye - do you know of any prescription transfer reward deals going on now? I don't have a Sunday paper and checked a few places online, but didn't see anything. Thanks.

losltp - great price on the Kroger unadvertised egg sale! Thanks for sharing!

tamontello3 - see Losltp's post about Kroger egg sale as well. Your Kroger store may or may not be offering this deal, but if they are, it is a good price.

watchhillgirl - Congrats on your new home! I have only had side by side fridges so no personal experience with top/bottom. You may want to see what consumer reports has to say about reliability and pros and cons of each.

luvstoQ - the response I received from Walgreens this morning has the info you want:

"I show a tentative opening date for the store on 104 Sherron Rd to be 07/24/2015. Thank you for inquiring, Have a great day. Pam"

Tamontello3 - every Thursday I publish a post called "Just the Basics" and it lists the best egg, meat, produce, dairy, etc deals for the week. Here is the link to this week. Unfortunately, the Walgreens egg sale ended yesterday.

http://www.wral.com/just-the-basics-weekly-deals/14690099/Here are the egg deals from the list:

Harris Teeter: Harris Teeter eggs, 30 count, $3.67 – every day price

Lowes Foods: Eggland’s Best large white eggs, 1 dozen, $2.50 - .35/1 coupon from 5/10 SS

There are many stores with boneless chicken breast on sale so I would suggest checking the link above. Hope that helps! :-)

Who has the best deal on eggs and boneless chicken breaststroke this week?

  • losltp Jun 7, 2015

I found deals on eggs and milk at Kroger yesterday :
    milk $2.50 a gallon
    eggs ( 18ct) $1.77 ( which is $1.17 a dozen ).
This was an" in store" special at at least 2 different stores in Durham
I also found $3 and $5 coupons on some of the ( NICE LOOKING!) chuck roasts that are on sale this week for $4.99/lb ( it was like getting a pound free with the $5 coupon !) .
I saved 67% at Kroger yesterday - getting only fresh produce, fresh meats , cheese , milk ,eggs , and popcorn for the popcorn popper. Only coupons were the ones on the packages .

Hi everyone! This doesn't have to do with coupons but savings and advice! It is time to start shopping for a refrigerator for our new home. Which do you like? Side by side or french door? What model do you like? It is so overwhelming I need some advice!
