grafted - Lidl is coming. I have spoken with their US corporate office and they are not yet giving out any info on opening dates. It's a great addition to the Triangle (and the US) though!

Thanks to everyone for answering the $/$$ questions today!

RaleighFoodBlogger - my HT took a Walgreens RR last week because it scanned. All the HT's I shop will no longer take ECB's though. :-(

JDOUGLAS13 - THANK YOU for answering me .
I thought that was the way it worked but was holding out hope .
I got a $10 of $150 at Food Lion the other day .
I have NEVER spent that much at a grocery storein my life - especially after sale/loyalty card/coupons and rainchecks !!
    What were they thinking ??LOL

DrD, I will let you know how I make out the the $10 CVS coupon if I use it. :)

That CS person at HT did not sound fun. Can't believe they went through the whole envelope of coupons from the register. After your experience there, I wouldn't try to use my FL coupon there either.

Hi Observant! To answer your question, usually the $ off $$ coupons are applied after everything else has been taken off, so you net amount would have to be $50 if you had a $10 off $50 coupon.

Miacarre, I missed that FD coupon! Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to see if I still have Sunday's paper. I have used them successfully at HT in the past when they came in a snail-mail flyer.

Wilson is supposed to get a
Lidl store. Work has already started on the site. Our Aldi is also expanding. They are closing for about a month for construction. All good news for Wilson shoppers.

I have a question about the $$ off next order of $$ coupons/catalinas( such as $10 off $50) . Does the total have to be the amount ( such as $50 ) after coupons/loyalty card discounts and rain checks ??
    Thanks !!

There's some competitors Family Dollar 5.00/25 off coupons from Smartsoure insert last Sunday and the expiration is this coming Saturday the 24, it's good to use at HT.

Read an article on Business Insider today and there are several NC locations set to get a Lidl store in the next year or so including Raleigh, Wake Forest & Rocky Mount. They are a German owned chain similar to Aldi (competitors). Should be interesting! (love the competition!)

JDouglas, please let us know if you also have success using the $10 off $60 CVS coupon at HT. I have one of those as well. There's no way I'd be able to spend that much at CVS, and even at HT it would be a stretch but a little more feasible.

JDOUGLAS13, good for you that your HT accepted the FL coupon! I'd love to hear if other shoppers also have success with using the FL On Your Next Order coupons at HT, now that they say Store Coupon at the top instead of Manufacturer coupon. After my SD shop at HT on Sunday, I remembered to count the number of coupons scanned and doubled, and found that one of the $1 Qs was not even scanned. So at the CS desk, they grabbed the envelope of coupons from the register where I checked out, and we located my coupons as evidence that I really had handed over the number I said I did. Anyway, during this process, from the coupons in the envelope that were not mine, the CS person scowled and set aside one of the FL OYNO coupons, grumbling that the cashier should not have accepted it. Made me afraid to even try it later, given that this HT is not particularly coupon-friendly.
