Nanee Lion and Nstutt, I saw on moolasavingmom just now that someone printed out their visa codes and manually entered them at the card swipe machine at Food Lion. I am just repeating what I read, so good luck if you try it.

Swag Code Alert! Code is available today until 5 pm for 3 SB!
    The code is: 1stDayMemory

Nstutt and Nanee Lion - the code allows you to get a Visa gift card for $10. You can then use it to load $10 to your Amazon account or Food Lion is allowing it to be used to reload a FL gift card if you have one. I even asked the cust. service mgr at FL today about it and she said that it was a great way to use it and she would rather see the money spent at FL. You have to buy a gift card at FL first (for like $10) and then use that to load the promo $10 o to in the gift card section of their website. I heard the Clayton store was not printing the codes. What a pain to have to call. The 40/42 store is printing them correctly.

I've used all my 10 allowed to- especially this weekend with the BOGO granola bars- I paid $3.XX and got $10 back-awesome money makers!!! I re-loaded most of them to an Amazon gift card I already had and it was pretty easy to do. I heard some people load them to a target gift cards so I am going to try that for few I have left.

This promotion has been difficult for me since I don't buy music etc. My FL does not print the catilina and you have to call them and wait to get the number but you have to wait forever for someone to help you. They do not even have a gift card that I can buy to use with the promotion. It is soooooooooooooo difficult.

Faye, the Food Lion promo states that the $10 card has to be used on digital products. What does that mean because I don't have a gift card like you did?

Dr D - no apology needed. I just couldn't figure out how I could get them for free so I assumed there was another component to the deal that I was missing. Thanks for clarifying and they are still a good deal at .39 each. :-)

Oh My - in addition to an intervention I need a brain scrub! Maybe I had Super Doubles still stuck in my brain because of course you're correct that the Bic pens are not free, and that explains the coupon not beeping due to overage as well. But even SD should not explain my error, since I recall reading that Bic coupons usually do not double. I apologize for posting incorrect information!

mothar1 - I bet your grandson was loving his goodies! The code I converted to an Amazon was not as much work as the FL card, but they did take a little time.

Dr D - if you need an intervention, I guess we will all have to join you! lol Great job on stocking up.

I am not following on the Bic pens being free. If they are $1.79 and BOGO, that makes each one .89 - $1/2 coupon = .39 each. What am I missing?

I actually took advantage of all 10 (max allowed) FL Rule the School vouchers. Do you think I need an intervention of some sort? There were just SO many items that we use that ended up being free, or a great price, after the voucher that I couldn't resist. Jif peanut butter (.50/2 MQ), Peter Pan peanut butter, Pace salsa (.50/2 IP), Angel Soft TP (.45 MQ, and yesterday I saw a tag indicating the 4 pk of double rolls was included), Orville Rd. popcorn 3 pk ($1/2 MQ), Kellogg's PopTarts 12 ct ($1/3 MQ), Welch's grape jam, 32 oz (.35 MQ), Smucker's fruitfulls ($1 MQ), Ziploc bags ($1/2 MQ), Kraft singles (.60/2 MQ) were among my purchases. The cashiers were great about allowing me to do multiple transactions. FREE is a really nice price for items we would have purchased anyway! :-)

Also, the 10 pk of Bic Cristal pens are reg $1.79 but on sale BOGO, and there's a $1/2 MQ, making 2 packs free. It appears on my receipt that the overage of .21 was applied to other items in my order.
