bjluckeey - thanks for the info on the eggs at the Garner Walgreens!

  • bjluckeey Jun 16, 2015

I bought eggs at Walgreens today and yesterday. Each time I got 4 dozen of eggs no sign of limit or no rain checks. This was in Garner at Timber drive.

Heads up! There is a Swag Code available today until 5 pm for 3 Swag Bucks!

    Code: 3XCashBack

readingtou - thanks for the heads up on the Walgreens eggs. I was able to buy 3 the other and there were no signs up. I'll have to check later this week to see if they put up signs at the Wags at 40/42.

Nanee Lion - I don't stock up on more food than my pantry in the kitchen or my extra freezer will hold. If they start to get too full, I back off on overstocking until I can use up/donate some items so nothing goes bad. When I first started couponing, I was not working full time and had much more time to go to many stores each week. Now I work too many hours to shop as many stores as I used to. My overstock is not as big and is actually more manageable and I don't feel like I spend too much time shopping. Also, because I do not have as much time to shop now, I am forced to plan meals better and use what we have. :-)

Stopped at Walgreens in Wilson to get eggs and there was a sign up that said due to bird flu there was a limit of 2 per person and no rain checks.

Faye, I am interested in hearing how everyone stores their over-stock on items we find at great prices and how much is enough! Sometimes I think we get carried away with the deals and stock too much. I know I do and then I donate. Once you start couponing it is hard not to get the deals that are available but sometimes I find myself shopping too much and not having time for other things I need to do. Anyone else guilty?? I need to get better at planning our meals with what we have on hand and finding a balance with my coupons and deals. Just wondering if anyone else is guilty of this or am I the only one??

losltp - I was writing the article about the Target pharmacy sale when you posted this. :-) You can see more details about the transition in the article, but you will get Extrabucks from the new CVS pharmacies in Target and you can use them in the CVS pharmacy in Target or in free-standing CVS stores. At this point, it does not look like you can use the the CVS rewards in the Target part of the store. It will be interesting to see if CVS eventually takes over the whole health and beauty section of Target or if they just fill prescriptions.

    Another question /remark -
Has anyone noticed the MVP coupons Food Lion is adding to your MVP card ?
I just looked and I have over $25 worth of coupons - all things I buy on a regular basis including meat & produce !
    Also some $$ off $$ total purchases ( $5 off $15 , $10 off $25 )
