RFB~you mentioned something earlier this week about a birch box. I'm not too familiar with it. Can you explain a bit more please. Do you get a box every month? Are they full size samples? Is it only makeup? Thanks in advance :)

DIANELUCASRAT, if you are in Durham, you could also drop off expired coupons at the SW Regional location of the Durham County Library at 3605 Shannon Rd. (see http://durhamcountylibrary.org/ for hours this location is open each day). Our Durham Coupon Swap meets there monthly, and you may drop off expired coupons at the Information Desk and ask them to keep them for us. Our expired coupons, plus any unexpired ones that no one wants/needs after each swap, go to a Wilmington, NC Coups for Troups volunteer, then are shipped overseas where our military families can use them for up to 6 months beyond the expiration date.

I managed to score a Food Lion MVP Flash Freebie today, which was a bag of Beggin Strips for my pups. I just went to their website and loaded the coupon to my card from the Coupons they offer.

WorkinMom - sad but true. We chatted about it on the blog a few weeks ago when it first happened and we were all bummed about the price increase. :-( Like Momoff1, my Kroger also has chicken for $1.99/lb so you may want to try there.

WORKINMOM - check your Kroger store, my Kroger store has their boneless skinless chicken breasts in the meat case at $1.99/lb.

The butcher at Harris Teeter told me a couple weeks ago that the price was going up to $2.49 He told me the $1.99 price had been over 7 years. I've been buying at $1.99 for several years, as with the prices it was just a matter of time before it would increase. $2.49 is still a good price for boneless skinless chicken breast.
    Thank Fay for the address

Anyone else notice that the fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts from Harris Teeter are not $1.99 anymore? Apparently they went up to $2.49 a couple of weeks ago. I knew it was too good to last...
