Exactly -- Extremely Couponing is mainly FICTIONAL!!!!! I've tried to explain to family members "you can't use 50 of the same coupon at one time" or Call the store ahead of time to hold you a "pallet load of 2 liter Coke" I refuse to watch the show.

LOSLTP - No sign up required. I didn't know about it. I was just redeeming the 2200 sb gift card, then there was a banner on top of the page that says Swag Up Earn 50 sb rebate when you redeem any gift card. After I verified my redemption, the 50sb was credited instantly. I don't know until when this promo runs though. It was just good timing on my part. A pleasant surprise. :)

Swynn, not Faye here, but just wanted to say that the Extreme Couponing show on TLC is way more fiction than fact. The stores waive all their couponing rules and policies in exchange for what is essentially free advertising. Real stores don't take 50 of the same coupon for one product. Also, you've probably noticed that on the show the shoppers are buying cartloads of useless stuff for the most part. I always wonder how many meals they are able to make out of tic tacs and vitamin water.

If you are saving 40 - 60% when you're shopping, I think you are doing great!! Stick with the loss leaders, build a small stockpile (4 to 6 week supply) of items when they are on sale AND you have the coupon, and you will be in great shape! If you haven't taken one of Faye's couponing classes, I highly recommend them. She will tell you how it really works. :)

Thank you Faye...I had been looking at some of those Extreme Coupon shows (note most of them are at least 3 years old I see) and was trying to figure out how they used so many coupons and how they stacked so many coupons....it seems like a great idea in theory but I could not thing of any way or stores I could do that in. We have Food Lion, Just Save and Walmart here in town and I do travel to Harris Teeter when I can but Harris Teeter is the only store I can double coupons in. I wish I could get better than a 40%-60% savings when I shop. It's not bad but it doesn't save me what I wish it would and the savings end up spent on non coupon items like milk, cheese, meats, etc.

MOMOFFI - Thanks for the heads up on the SwagUp rebate. I didn't know about it, but I will be redeeming some of my swagbucks to get that!

I just redeemed a $25 gift card for 2,200 SBs and got a 50 SB rebate instantly with the SwagUp. Sweet deal - rebate on top of the discount.

swynn406 - printable coupons are usually manufacturer coupons and are accepted the same way the paper coupons from the newspaper are accepted at our stores. Some stores will let you use a manuf. and a store coupon on the same item (called stacking) and some will not. Here is a brief breakdown of the grocery stores:

Harris Teeter: You CAN stack manufacturer's paper coupons with an e-Vic digital coupon.

Food Lion: Only 1 coupon per item - no stacking any coupons with each other

Lowes Foods: You CAN stack manufacturer's paper coupons with store coupons from the in-ad flyers every few months. You cannot stack paper coupons with the digital coupons found on their website.

Kroger: You cannot stack paper coupons with digital coupons found on their website.

CVS: You CAN stack manufacturer's coupons with store coupons from the in-store kiosk or from cvs.com.

Walgreens: You CAN stack manuf. coupons with store coupons from the in-store coupon booklet.
