ThomasG - thanks for the tree price. That is a good deal.

FlyingUnderTheRadar - as soon as I hit send I realized I had sent the panthers comment to the wrong couponer. My heart goes out to you!

Faye- The tree was $30 . The boys in the troop were working hard greeting customers, pitching the sale , wrapping and loading the trees .
I think they are all out of trees except the 5 or 6 they will donate to the nursing homes .

That is a little high (for the TROSA trees) - wonder how much Durham County gets per tree ??

My poor Panthers!! I'll have to email you a picture of the discounted banged up case of Bud Light Panther beer I got at Teeter!

barbiedoll1967 - thanks for the info! One of our Facebook readers shared that the trees at her Food Lion are NC trees, and I thought that was nice. And ...ummm...sorry about your Panthers this weekend..... ;-)

I live in Roxboro and I've seen them at the Food Lions in my area. We got our tree from the local nursery (trying to promote a local business).

ThomasG - Thanks for the information about trees at Walmart! Trosa in Durham was $50 - $60 at the location they checked. What are your boy scouts selling them for?

Observant, I am so sorry if I offended -- not my intention at all! The only Food Lions I am familiar with are the two in East Clayton, so I was speaking to those.

Your help and kindness are always very much appreciated!!

Observant - Thank You for trying to help .
I have not seen any trees at Walmart this year - the 2 Walmart stores I shop at most are not carrying cut trees . I am not sure of the Durham store I was in last week since I did not go near the garden area - quick in and out at the other end of the store.
I have noticed many of the tree lots in Durham this year are TROSA lots .I do not know the prices .
We got ours from local boy scout troop

observant - thanks! I did find a FL location that has them near where they live so it's all good. Thanks again!!

straitlover1965 - Many thanks! I passed on the information to them.

jdouglas13 - Good heads up. The store closest to them did still have some so hopefully they can get one before they sell out.
