Faye - For the record, how are we supposed to report posts like the one below Nanee Lion's as spam? I did mark it as abuse but it is really just spam.

jdouglas13 thanks. I checked on the Lodge CI at WalMart and they are heavy compared to mine. Of course mine is so old I can't remember how long we have had it. Having been married 49 years next month, we have a lot of things that are old like us, but they still work.
My daughter has the flat eyes on her stove and not sure if it would scratch it since it is so heavy.

Do you have any suggestions regarding kitchen scissors that won't rust? Thanks for your help!

Nanee Lion, I got my CI frying pan a few years back at Home Goods in Apex, I think. What I really like about it is that the outside of it is porcelain (the part that comes in contact with the stove) which makes for easier clean up. I think I've seen something similar at Walmart.

Momoffi - thanks for the additional information!

Nanee Lion - I'll keep my eyes open for a sale on cast iron. I just bought a Lodge cast iron skillet from Walmart a couple weeks ago. It was a good regular price and I used a WM gift card from Swagbucks to make it even deal. The Lodge brand come very highly recommended from many here on this blog and online.

Faye, it's the Walgreens on Wake Forest Road and Toys R Us behind Triangle Town Center. Toys R Us doesn't have much left though, lucky to find that Doc McStuffins for DD.

Looking for a good price on cast iron frying pan for Christmas. Do you think I should wait for black Friday? If you see any deals, please post.

Also looking some good kitchen scissors that do not rust (quote from person's request). Any suggestions?
