Thanks for the great ideas Faye and JDOUGLAS13!

RAESMOM1612-My daughter wanted me to let you know that she just finished up the YMCA babysitting class if you ever need a sitter :)

Hi Raesmom, this place wasn't the same without you! I am so happy to see so many old blog friends here! It really is like a family reunion!

Leftover ham chopped up is really good if you saute it for a few minutes, and then toss is into pasta alfredo. If you add some broccoli or asparagus, you got a meal in a pot. If you really want to gild the lily, put the whole thing into a casserole dish, sprinkle on some parm and buttered bread crumbs, then brown under the broiler for a few seconds -- watch it because it browns really fast.

Glad to be back posting and seeing all the posts again.

Wow! Such an awesome surprise to click onto the blog and see all these familiar faces again!!
My main issue was I preferred posting anonymously. I am a little hesitant to use my facebook account which includes my first and last name and made me feel a little vulnerable. On facebook I can add or decline a friend request. On a blog I do not have that ability. I am thrilled to have everyone back!! Let the commenting commence! :)

Glad some things never change :)

I ended up going to the store and getting a small package of ground beef and Rae and I made meatballs (well Rae made "meat specs" lol they were so tiny) with homemade sauce and free noodles. Have a few bananas that need to be used up so possibly banana bread for desserts tomorrow.

I got a flier from the new save a lot that just opened up on MLK in south east Raleigh and it had 2 q's for free products (after a $10 purchase) one was for a free 24pack of water and the other was for a free gallon of milk........i love save alot. Up in buffalo that's where we shopped so happy for my new save alot!!!!!!

Great News about super doubles and we can post again with all our friends. I have really missed you all so much.

I was told today that Walgreens in Clayton ordered way too many eggs for Easter so they have reduced them to $.99 a dozen and he said the expiration dates are sometime in May. He told me you could buy them by the case. Just bought some at HT last week so I don't need them. Was going to ask Faye to post on FB so you all could get some. Go get those eggs my friends.

This is a wonderful day with all this good news! Thanks Faye for all your support!

It really feels like a family reunion. I love the fact that so many of us were still checking it daily which is evidenced by the number of posts today.

I seriously feel like I am at a fabulous family reunion today. :-)

    Welcome back everyone!

cbbunn - I was starting to feel the same way myself. lol

Twinredheads - maybe you can disguise the ham as something else like "chicken" tenders. Maybe they won't notice it's ham if you bread it and bake it. ha ha Or maybe "chicken" parmesan. Use enough sauce and cheese and they'll never catch on......maybe.

LuvinCam - great deal on the chicken legs!

Wow, thought I was seeing things when there were more than 5 posts on this thread! Welcome back everyone :)

Dinner will be leftover ham (again), asparagus and mashed potatoes. Think I might need to freeze the rest of the ham before the family mutinies.
