    Smodler - I have not filled out the online form before so I can't help you there. If you are going to be at the store anyway in the next couple days, you may want to bring it back to customer service for the refund.

    Nanee Lion - that is bizarre! Did you ask to speak with the manager? Were you at the Clayton store? I would definitely call the manager on Monday. Hopefully you got the employee's name.

    I bought the Palmolive in my eVic specials today at HT and I didn't notice till I got home that it only rang up as the sale price of $2.50 instead of the eVic price of $1.47. I filled out a form on the HT website and explained what happened. Has anyone else ever done that and gotten a response from HT and a refund for the difference? Just wondering if I need to go back to the store and go to the CS desk.

    Thanks Vlynn for your comment. I don't know if I'll call tomorrow or not. The only reason I get the Sunday paper is for the coupons. I just got a new subscription 3 weeks ago and so far the service hasn't been that great. The first paper took two deliveries one on that Sunday and the second on that Monday, but at least that time the delivery person left a note saying the rest of the paper would be here on that Monday. I hope this is not how the rest of the year is going to be.

    Nanee Lion, I think it is getting harder and harder to have any savings these days. Either you have a sale and no coupon or a coupon and no sale. And when you have an experience like what you had at Lowe`s Foods, it is just no fun at all.

    Faye, question: Have you or anyone been told at Lowe's Foods that you cannot use a coupon on their clearance/discounted items? These are the items that are put in a cart at the back of the store at my store. I have been told that several times lately at my store. Also had a clerk come up to my cart and take out an item and ask the cashier to scan it to see how much it was. She said since it did not have a price on it that I could not buy it. I had a separate order for my friend and I told her that that item was not for the order being scanned. Didn't matter to her. She clearly wanted the item I had and was determined that I was not going to get it.

    Re missing inserts from N&O: I had been told a few years ago by staff at the N&O that the N&O did not always get enough inserts to fill all the home subscriptions, outside locations, and paper boxes. They are filled in the order I listed them and a lot of times the paper boxes ended up with no inserts. They also sometimes have to leave out certain zipcodes based on instructions from the insert manufacturers. I think this is still true.

    I called the N&O and talked to a person there and she said that if I didn't get what was missing by noon I would get a credit. I told her I really wanted what was missing. So still haven't received a replacement and when I called back the message said to call back tomorrow. I have a feeling I know how that is going to go...

    Raesmom, I've never been able to get a paper from the N&O the next day. You'd do better going back to the gas station and telling them you got an incomplete paper.

    Moneysaver, I hate bad customer service. It's a real pet peeve of mine. Sorry you had such a terrible experience, and I hope they make it right.
