    Faye
    Thanks !
I thought there was some type of internet coupon that was not accepted at some stores - I just could not remember the details . Thanks again for helping .

ThomasG - pretty much every store that accepts competitor's coupons has a line in their policy that forbids printed Internet competitor's coupons including Lowes Foods and Harris Teeter. Both of their policies are clear that they do not take them.

Will any stores accept competitors internet coupons ??

    Thank You !
I have never had a problem with a printed web coupon either .

ThomasG, that's good to know that other Krogers are still accepting printables! That one was along one of my regularly traveled routes, but maybe I'll make some detours to other Krogers now that I know they'll still accept printables at their other stores. :-)

Thanks Faye, I did not know this about CVS and the coupon had "up to $8.99" in small print, of course.

ThomasG - most stores are taking printed coupons with no issues as long as they scan. I used at least 10 at Lowes Foods and Harris Teeter today with no issues.

Regarding the coupons.com coupons you can print through Swagbucks, as Dr D mentioned, they are manufacturer's coupons like any other coupons.com coupons you print from other sites. You would never need to show any kind of swagbucks member info to redeem them. They are not special swagbucks coupons.

The coupons themselves are coded so Swagbucks will know when you redeem them. You do not have to do anything special to get the 10 swagbucks per coupon other than use it at the register. It takes a while for them to credit the swagbucks but they do eventually.

ncveteranswife - my CVS will give me up to amount the coupon will allow. So, if I have a free product coupon for up to $8.99 but the product costs $9.50, I have to pay the difference of 51 cents.

    DrD
    Thank You !
Hopefully it is just the policy of that one store .
I have never had a problem at other Krogers in Durham - Riverview, North Point, Hillsborough Road or the one way out near 40 . I used several coupons last night with no problem ( I had to venture out to grab some more of the lb. blocks of cheese while still on sale - 3 for $10 !) .
    What about HT ??
Thank You also for the swagbuck/coupon information !!I am glad tof ind a new way to "swag" .

Does anyone know if on a CVS printed coupon, BOGO that shows "up to $8.99" that CVS will only honor $8.99 and not really give the 2nd item for free?

  • Dr D Dec 15, 2013

    ThomasG, the Kroger on S Roxboro in Durham has notices up at their registers that they are not accepting any internet printable coupons. :-{

On a brighter note, coupons I've printed from the swagbucks site behave just as well as coupons printed from any other site; no proof of membership required to use them. :-)
