Good idea....2 pizzas!!!! Love that. Much easier to manage I would think. I don't pre bake mine but may try that next time. I bought 2 more yesterday...and 2 more today. Had to get a raincheck on the Jif though.

And krissy - we have started cutting the dough ball in half (at the suggestion of another reader) and making 2 pizzas out of it. My girls like just a couple veggies on their pizza (mushrooms and black olives). My hubby and I prefer to have it loaded with veggies including some that the girls do not especially like on their pizza. We also like a thinner crust and when you use one whole dough ball on a standard pie crust stone, it is a thicker crust than we prefer.

Also, some other folks here on the blog do not pre-bake their HT crust. They roll it out, top it and bake. I like to pre-bake the crust because I know it is cooked through and I like a more well done crust.

    Hope that helps.

krissy - here you go - I am also adding the crust instructions to the WRAL Recipe Database for everyone to find easily.

Recipe: Homemade pizza using dough ball

Thaw dough ball in fridge. Roll out onto pizza pan or cookie sheet with lightly oiled rolling pin. . Lightly coat edges of crust with olive oil. Season with garlic powder and Italian spices all over crust, if desired.

Pre-bake crust in 425-degree oven for about 7 minutes. Remove crust from oven and put sauce and desired toppings and then cheese on to crust. Bake until cheese is melted, approximately 10 – 12 minutes. Enjoy!
