FYI for those in the 40/42 area between Garner and Clayton: New Sheetz opened yesterday at Hwy 42 and Cornwallis and gas is $3.09 per gallon right now! Needless to say, the Exxon across the street is empty.....

mmitchell1402 - wow - I never thought about doing that. That's really sad. Of course, this site certainly does not promote fraud and we have our own FB page! : https://www.facebook.com/WRALSmartShopper

When I have seen couponers abusing the system (usually with multiple orders during HT Super Doubles), I "help" them out by giving them a "heads up that the policy only allows 20 coupons per household per day and I wasn't sure if they realized it and I figured they would want to know before they got that surprise at the register." In your case, I am not sure what you could do because Walmart does not require the sale flyer from the competitor in most stores. If you confront the person at the register, they can just deny it and the cashier will not know the difference unless that have the ad, which is doubtful. Then you also risk being confronted at your car by an angry coupon abuser. It is really up to the store to put in checks and balances to prevent this. Many stores have, not WM

Hi Faye, I've been a big fan of yours for many years now. I started couponing again a few months ago and I have joined several facebook couponing groups. I have come to realize that there are MANY people out there who completely abuse store policies and coupons. One example that I see over and over is couponers price matching items at Walmart for the AFTER coupon prices advertised at other stores and then using coupons to get these items for free, or use them as a money maker. For instance, this week Walgreen's has Pantene shampoo on sale 3 for $10 and the ad says that you can use the $5/3 coupon in the paper to pay only $5 for 3 bottles. There are people price matching the 3/$5 final price and then using the coupon and getting the products for free. My question is how do you handle this situation when you know that someone is abusing a policy? Do you say something to them? Secondly, can you recommend some facebook groups that I could join that do not promote this sort of fraud?
