The Internet on my street is still out and Time Warner won't be there to work on it until sometime tomorrow (Thursday). Sorry for the lack of posts but I have to go to Sheetz to post on their awesome free wifi.....and drink smoothies. Such a sacrifice. lol And I did spend the afternoon cleaning out my office. Very happy about that! Have a good night everyone!

terr19 - I agree with Dr D - $1.20 per week is a good deal. I pay $1.08 per week after my last negotiation with the retention dept in May. I had to pay in full for a year to get the rate.

Groupon was just offering a $1 per week for 26 weeks offer though if still available. You may want to check that out but I think it is only for new customers, though.

lucyhany - many of the Swagbucks GC's take about 7 - 10 days to receive. Most are not mailed to you. They are e-gift cards that you print out once Swagbucks sends you an e-mail to let you know it is available in your Swagbucks GC account. The description of the gift card will indicate if they are e-cards or if they are mailed. All the ones I have ordered in the last 6 months are e-gift cards. Once you print it out (using the link Swagbucks supplies), you just bring it to the store and present it at the register just like any other GC. If you don't use the whole thing at the register, the remaining balance is still on the GC.

I think that's a good deal, depending on what your other options are. Consider whether or not you live near somewhere you could buy one for not much more. My next best option is Walgreens, for ~$1.50ish, although sometimes they're sold out by the time I can get there early on Sunday afternoons. Be warned though, that the N&O will likely sell you this as 52 weeks, but then actually deduct from your "Sun Plus" account for each of their 6 "special" holiday issues throughout the year. So I might think of it as 52 - 6 = 46 weeks, or $1.35 per Sunday paper.

Does anyone know if $1.20 for the Sunday only paper is a good deal= $62.40 for 52 weeks plus tax. That is the best the N & O would negotiate. Thanks.

My1Cents: Sadly, no, according to Rite Aid's coupon policy,

we're only allowed to use one manufacturer's coupon per pair of items on a BOGO sale. However, if there is also a valid Rite Aid store coupon, or a valid Rite Aid Video Values coupon, for the sale item, you may "stack", or use those types of coupons along with the manufacturer's coupon, for the items in the same transaction. You may also use Rite Aid +UP coupons, generated for you from a previous transaction, to help pay for the remaining non-tax portion of the balance due.

I have a general question about Rite Aid. When they are running a buy one get one free sale do they allow you to use 2 coupons because you are buying two items even though one is free?

My Internet has been out since about 10 :30 thanks to Duke power workers in my neighborhood. Not sure when they will be out to fix it. Hope to be posting again soon. .......
