looks like DianeNC beat me to the report lol! :-) but yes, there is still a decent stock at the Cary Lowes. The last aisle on the left (chips and stuff) is pretty barren save some Pringles and random snacks. Produce, bakery and deli are pretty much empty. Everything else is still pretty stocked. Those items that are on decent sale - regardless of coupons - are out. I noticed that mostly in the frozen section - not the ice cream, although the Turkey Hill was pretty much gone.

Had to run into Food Lion to get something for work. Ended up picking up a 3lb bag of onions, 1 cantalope, 3 lbs bananas, 4 bags frozen FL corn, 1 bag frozen FL tiny green peas for $6.26 plus tax. Used the $2 off $5 produce and the $2 off $5 frozen coupons. Service was surprisingly good.

The hours for the Lowes Foods store in Cary that is closing is 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. As I mentioned, I'm going to stop again on my way home, so will hopefully be able to post a better description of what's left later tonight.

Nanee Lion - Unfortunately, didn't see any of the marked down cans of cat food like the Clayton store put out, but I'll keep checking, as you never know if/when the Cary store will do the same.

raesmom1612 - you mentioned you were looking for Bic coupons yesterday. I'm guessing you probably already did this, but in addition to the $1.00 coupon that you can print twice from their Facebook page, you can also print out a $1.50/2 coupon, twice, from their Facebook page when you enter their Instant Win contest.

RaleighFoodBlogger - Unfortunately, since I only had a short amount of time there at lunch today, I didn't get a chance to check every aisle, but I do seem to remember that the aisle with toothpaste, medicine, hair products, etc., was still pretty well stocked.

All the soda is gone except for the generic and/or store brands, and the higher-end stuff. I was hoping to pick up some Starbuck's Refreshers since they were on sale and I had a coupon, but the whole display was totally empty. Lots of frozen food still left, as well as a decent amount of refrigerated items. (No Kraft slices that are sale left.) There was just one Velveeta Singles left, but a handful of the Hormel Sandwich Makers, which I grabbed two of (ended up being free with coupons).

LOTs of greeting cards still left at 75% of, as well as lots of office/school supplies.

    Very little produce left.

I'll be stopping back later today, but from what I heard management saying, they apparently think most everything will be gone

Sounds like several of you were in the store at the same time I was this am, wish I could identify people in the store to say hi

Just left LF location on Capital, still well stocked in brand name diapers, fem hygiene items, etc, brand names and tons of good Hallmark greeting cards. I got 85 greeting cards for less than 6 dollars. Most of the items like Kraft cheese are gone but store is uncrowded andwell stocked overall

DianeNC- did you happen to check out the shampoo aisle in Cary? They used to carry my favorite Redken products (which are kind of pricy) Would love to get some at 25 or 40% off, and will make the drive if they do!

Diana123- I'm learning too... I just recently found out what Vienna Sausages are, and still have yet to find Old Wisconsin Beef Sticks... or Buddig ham??? Well, most of it goes to the food pantry anyways, so it's worth continuing the hunt! ;-)
