Have a question that doesn't fit into any of the other threads? Here's the place to ask it.

When posting about deals you have read on other blogs: Please don't copy and paste work from other people's coupon blogs directly on to this blog. It's fine to rephrase the information and then just include something like: "Thanks to for the info". We don't want to have copyright issues here on the blog because someone copied and pasted deals from another blogger.  Thanks for your help with this!

I got three of them today at lunch. My kids love apple pie so I got 2 of those and one cherry.

    Thanks for the code, DianceNC!

Scoutmom - the HT at North Hills has the pies BOGO for $3.50 each and many at the bakery had $2 off store coupon stickers on them making them $1.50. I also had one of the $1 pie coupons that they had laying next to the pies last week so my total was also .50 for the pie!

Don't know if all the HT's are doing this but I was at the one in Cameron Village at lunch tday and they had their Fresh Pies (Apple, Cherry or Blueberry) which were B1G1 this week for 0.50 while supplys last. The 0.50 you pay for the pie goes to the Wounded Warrior Project. I didn't use any coupons and my bill for 3 pies, 2 packages of Hefty plates, a bag of Tostitos and a box of the Keebler Pita Cra*kers was 9.09 oop (including the 1.50 which went to the WWP. The savings was 26.98 (74.8%). That is why I love my HT!!!

Ocean Spray has sneakily reduced the size of their 100% Juice product line from 64 oz. to 60 oz. (but, of course, didn't lower their price for this item accordingly.) I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they do the same with the rest of their product line. And the shrinking of our grocery products continues...*sigh*.

(Ironically, they still list this product line as 64 oz. on their website.)

For those of you who have price matched at walmart, can I do that at a regular checkout line or do I need to go to customer service?

The company culture at Kroger is just not appealing and the employees are of a very different attitude and mindset than the HT employees. I have to wonder how long before we will see the slide of life as we have known it begin to show at HT and I hope the retirement benefits of the HT employees are not compromised for some lesser plan at Kroger. I am clipping for SD with sober scissors

NO!!!!!!!!!!! Kroger, the country's largest grocery store chain, will acquire Harris Teeter for $2.5 billion in cash, Bloomberg reported Tuesday. Harris Teeter has 212 stores in southeastern states, including North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina.

So sad to hear the HT was bought by Kroger. So dissapointed.
