KIDDZA - that is aswesome! Love finding those 75% off clearance sales! Thanks for posting. :-)

  • KIDDZA Jul 15, 2014

Assistant manager at Walgreens on Holly Springs Road and Sunset Lake-very willing today to further discount clearance merchandise an additional 25% off already reduced prices. Making items 75% off...nice selection of many different items. I was happy

I am taking part in a Kroger customer service group and I hope that this example and others that I am providing them will give them a better understanding of the customer service problems at Kroger and help them understand why they need to adopt some of HT's training.

I agree you should contact the manager of that Kroger - I have alays had above and beyond service at the Krogers I shop at . One even drove to another Kroger store and got an item for me !

Vlynn, I agree with losltp. You may want to call the store mgr and let him/her know what happened and that they may want to consider some additional customer service training so customers are not left feeling the way you did.

VLYNN may I ask which Kroger ??
It is a shame they had to hire someone with that attitude and he should be reported .

vlynn - that is a sad, sad story of customer no-service (as Clark Howard likes to say). I am sorry to hear that they did not go the extra mile (or extra 10 feet, even). Did you ever find the water?

I went to Kroger to get some plain coconut water that was on sale. I saw that the plain was not on the shelf and I asked a worker if they had the water somewhere else. She said that she didn't work in that area, but there was someone on the next aisle who did. She asked him to come over and he asked her to scan the shelf barcode to see if they had any in stock. The scanner said they had 22. He said he would check the stockroom. He came back and told me he didn't see any. He said that he didn't know were they could be and suggested that I look around the store myself and then went back to what he was doing! If I had been at HT, the worker would have looked around for it and then if he couldn't find it, he would have called a manager. If the manager didn't know where the items were, they would have offered me a similiar item at the sale price. The difference between shopping at Kroger and HT is like night and day. Customer service is the motto at HT, but not at Kroger.
