Found a deal today? Here's the place to share it!

Have a question that doesn't fit into any of the other threads? Here's the place to ask it.

When posting about deals you have read on other blogs: Please don't copy and paste work from other people's coupon blogs directly on to this blog. It's fine to rephrase the information and then just include something like: "Thanks to xyz.com for the info". We don't want to have copyright issues here on the blog because someone copied and pasted deals from another blogger.  Thanks for your help with this!

Thanks everyone! I did notice the very long shelf date on the cheese packages, I just wanted to make sure that if we don't eat them as fast as I think we will that they are able to be frozen.

Faye, thanks for the coupon offer! Much appreciated :)

Meredith, you can freeze block of cheese, however, it tends to be very crumbly once it's defrosted, so you won't be able to slice it cleanly. I've frozen it right in the package it comes in. If you are talking about a sharp cheddar, you may just be able to keep it in your fridge. It has a very long shelf date. I probably have a dozen blocks of Cabot cheddar in my fridge at any given moment, bought only on sale, so some have been there for quite a while!

    Yay for the picnic, Juanita!

Meredith - I just freeze cheese blocks in their original package and then in a freezer bag. Once thawed, I use it for cooking.

A few weeks ago someone posted saying they needed Huggies diapers codes. I have 3 of them. If that was you and you are still in need email me at Juanita.Smith@Hotmail.com

I have started freezing bags of shredded cheese since I learned I could do so on this blog. Now my question is, can I freeze block cheese? If so, what is the best way to do so and to thaw it back out?

Linda - for the ones that are free with ZVR (like the granola bars), I would use a paper coupon, since it is already free. I don't think they will let you. I did not use any when I got the granola bars free with ZVR.

Now, with the BOGO cookie dough, since you are only buying one, they should not let you use a $1/2 coupon either, if they truly ring at 1 full price and one for free. If you had a coupon off of only one, you could use that since you are buying one. If they both rang at 1/2 price, you could use the $1/2 coupon. BUT - the cahier/mgr may allow you to use the $1/2 coupon so just ask them.

If the ZVR for the cookies indicates they will take off up to $4, this means the register should take off $2.50 for the one that is free, but I did use that deal yet, so I don't know what the register is actually doing with this deal. With the free ones, I seem to recall it took off the actual amount of the product that day, not the full price that the ZVR said it could take off.
