Found a deal today? Here's the place to share it!

Have a question that doesn't fit into any of the other threads? Here's the place to ask it.

When posting about deals you have read on other blogs: Please don't copy and paste work from other people's coupon blogs directly on to this blog. It's fine to rephrase the information and then just include something like: "Thanks to xyz.com for the info". We don't want to have copyright issues here on the blog because someone copied and pasted deals from another blogger.  Thanks for your help with this!

kellington0131 - I was about to suggest Shelton's on Morgan St,but I see straitlover0165 already has! All kinds of furniture (new and used)at all prices. You may want to check them out. Based on my experience, they've always come down in price from the ticketed price.

also we just got back from a 2 night stay (mini vacay) and stood at the Viking motel on S. OCEAN BLVD. It wasn't the best motel ever but there was a full refridgerator, and a stove and there was a pool and kiddy pool. We paid 81.00 for 2 nights. they also have oceanview rooms (they are ocean side) with private balconies but since we were just there for the 2 nights we took the cheapest room available.

Those looking for inexpensive furniture, etc. - there are several groups on Facebook that I found out about through others here on this blog that are similar to Craigslist. Here's a few to start out with:

    Buy/Trade/Sell Southern Wake Co/Cary/Morrisville/Apex
    Wake County Online Yard Sale
    Post B4 Pitching

clinton28328 -- This will be our second summer using VRBO for a 4-night rental in Myrtle Beach. While *all* the postings said 7-night minimum, we contacted several to see if they would accept a shorter rental. We are very pleased with the one we found -- $125/night for a 2-bedroom condo in Kingston Plantation. In fact, we liked so much we booked the same unit for this summer! :-)
