Found a deal today? Here's the place to share it!

Have a question that doesn't fit into any of the other threads? Here's the place to ask it.

When posting about deals you have read on other blogs: Please don't copy and paste work from other people's coupon blogs directly on to this blog. It's fine to rephrase the information and then just include something like: "Thanks to xyz.com for the info". We don't want to have copyright issues here on the blog because someone copied and pasted deals from another blogger.  Thanks for your help with this!

It is sincerely upsetting to me on so many levels to hear and read things that dissuade people from getting an education. Terrible. No wonder our culture and society is so messed up. My husband didn't have a degree and after losing his job a few years back during the crash he went to get it from State and now makes 3x what he did. He made up the cost of the education in less than 2 years.

Oxy - I have seen the articles, but my daughter wants to be a physician. College is pretty much her only option. :-) Not sure if that will be the course she takes in the end, but that is the one she has chosen for now.

Totally agree about all the freebies and coupons on Facebook!

Faye ... it's true, they grow up so fast. My oldest is 19 years old. My youngest is 9 months. I remember when the big one used to be that little. (And yes, I have been asked when I'm with the both of them "baby or grandbaby?") Just out of curiosity, not that I'm trying to dissuade you or them from college, but have you seen any of the articles on how college isn't really that a good deal anymore, financially speaking?

My "deal" today is to encourage people to get on Facebook. I Like companies on FB, I check in daily and see what's up, I enter contests or get coupons. It's the real deal. So real, in fact, that today I received 2 mixed cases of HappyBaby/HappyTot brand ORGANIC greek yogurt baby food pouches (for ages 6 mo+) courtesy of HappyFamily for winning during their 3 weeks of Greek contest.

    Get on Facebook. Really. :D

busels2- I have asked the same question. My mac 10.7.5 will not let me download JAVA. It says there isn't a java version for MAC.

  • mothar1 Jun 7, 2013

busels2, not sure if this will help but I just printed a coupon that uses Java and a window popped up asking if I wanted to run the Java application, so maybe try allowing popups?

I didn't get an answer to this when I posted the other day, but I know that someone on this wonderful blog can help. I can't print coupons from Kellogg's and Redplum. My mac is 10.5.8 and I have updated my Java. I have emailed Redplum and Kellogg's and have not gotten satisfactory answers. However, they still send me offers. Has anyone solved this problem? Thanks in advance.

beths - congrats on your daughter almost finishing her degree! And I am glad to hear HT made things right with the $10.

Nakabi and Juanita - you may have a bit longer than I have with your little ones, but it's like time goes on hyper drive and before you know it - BAM - they are in High School!

Savvysaver: Simply Pure milk (1/2 gallon) is $2.99 this week at Lowe's Foods. If you have access to FB and have not already printed it, they had a $1 printable coupon on their page which would make this milk $1 after the coupon doubles.
