Found a deal today? Here's the place to share it!

Have a question that doesn't fit into any of the other threads? Here's the place to ask it.

When posting about deals you have read on other blogs: Please don't copy and paste work from other people's coupon blogs directly on to this blog. It's fine to rephrase the information and then just include something like: "Thanks to xyz.com for the info". We don't want to have copyright issues here on the blog because someone copied and pasted deals from another blogger.  Thanks for your help with this!

@ brings CVS loaded money to my card. I received a printout from the red coupon machine. Mine did not automatically come off when I checked out I had to give the cashier the coupon/printout.

Mine is an E-ware, but I looked online and could not find my model (which is digital). Noticed a nice one by Cuisinart that looked like mine, but it was $100. My husband said that he thought the one I bought was a close-out sale. I hope it doesn't break because I like it.

I have a question...Scott paper towels are on sale @ CVS for $5.49 for 6 rolls, but the package states "6 rolls = 9 rolls", so do I divide the $5.49 by 6 or 9? Maybe this is a silly question, but I am trying to save on paper towels b/c we use a lot of them.

wildfrenchrose - about the meat re-sealing question you had: If you're using the roll and making your nown bag, make it a few inches longer than usual and seal at the top. Then, you can open it up and take out part of the meat/whatever and then reseal it, several times if you need to. You'll need a little practice, but 3-4 inches usually works for allowing a couple of re-seals.

Chipper, that is exactly what I need. I had one of those old crockpots that didn't come apart and never used it because it was so difficult to clean.

chipper4800-Wow, that sounds like an awesome kitchen gadget. I had no idea they made things like that. What brand do you have? And is the slow cook temperature super high like the newer slow cookers, or does at actually slow cook? That would be the only reason I would hesitate to get rid of my mom's old model slow cooker...it actually slow cooks. Not like my new one that can burn something in 3 hours on low...
