Faye- you asked about teacher hours. My husband is a high school teacher. I asked him how many hours each day. He said 10 hrs per day. They have meetings and committees to attend weekly. Also, he has several days per week he tutors his students who need additional assistance. He often completes work at night and on the weekends. When he was coaching it was worse. He has 7 years in Middle school and 8 yrs in high school.

djoyner636 - In addition to the sites Juanita mentioned, you may want to send your friend to hotcouponworld.com. They are a national deals site and they list a ton of different grocery stores. Some of the stores your friend has in Missouri are probably on the list of stores they post deals for.

djoyner636~ive never been to that part of the country but i did a quick google search and found these two http://www.kansascitymamas.com/ and www.pennypinchinmom.com hope that helps. We really are lucky in this part of the country to have Faye and all the grocery stores that we have that are so coupon friendly. My family in NY only has 2 store that everyday double up to .99 but never ever have a super double event! I don't know what I would do if I had to move back

nakabi - If you want a really extra lean ground beef, I highly recommend having the London broil ground. If you need something less lean, I found out from my FL butcher that every day they grind trimmings and it is great for hamburgers where you want some fat. The labels have a small block of color and this one is purple. At my store, they mark it down every day after 4:00. That makes the best juicy hamburger. I'm with Nancy - I pick my meat that I want ground into hamburger so I know what I am getting.

To everyone, I recommend chatting with your butcher. I have learned quite a bit just asking for their recommendations. They never steer me wrong. Just today I spoke with the HT butcher and found out that the EZ peel shrimp that is on sale in the bag is exactly what they have in the case so it is packaged for the freezer already.

nakabi-Aldi has the frozen 1 lb chubs of 85/15 ground beef in their freezer section for $2.79 I believe. And that is an every day price. I bought one, but have not cooked it yet, so I can't speak to it's quality.

    Thanks springtime! ;)

Does anyone know where to get a good deal on a printer, or know of a reputable but not too expensive printer they can recommend?

Someone might have said this but BIC razors are 2.99 at Target and less than 2.99 at Walmart for a money maker. Not 100% on the price at Walmart but I want to say you make .23 on each one. I got two today from Target. There are a ton left. They are the pink BIC disposable.

"I see FL has the London broil on sale for $2.99...think this is a decent price compared to the $2.49/lb for the ground at kroger?"

depends on what the ground at Kroger is made of and it's percentage of fat too. If it's the chub rolls, skip it! They're horrible! So much gristle and stuff, it's not worth it at any price :(
