Hello everyone!

$1/2 46 oz bottle of V8 fusion. It's on sale at Target this week - 2/$5. The coupon will bring it down to $2 a bottle, not a bad price! Here's the link:

ddalmas, I don't like to buy ground anything, I prefer to pick the meat and ask them to grind it as I know it's fresher and I get to choose the meat. I'm a little leery of what might be 'ground' up in those packages :( Fat content is only one concern I have.

Pretty soon I need to get the meat grinder for my Kitchen Aid mixer - then I can really custom grind all kinds of stuff :)

Thanks Nancy! I guess my problem then is that I don't really know what I'm getting when I buy a pkg of ground pork. Ground beef is labeled according to the percentage of fat included, but ground pork is just labeled ground pork. So I guess I'll need to experiment with different cuts and see how we like them ground.

For those of you with small children: $3 off Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders or Cootie.

That's good to know, Nancy, about the eggs not freezing well. I hate to have to throw out food due to problems like that.

FWIW, I heard an early HT preview which sounds like HT eggs will be super cheap this week. Like around $0.48/dozen, if the source is correct! Maybe we should consolidate all of our egg ideas and recipes in one place.

"It sounds like you froze your egg yolks intact, perhaps that's why your result was not good?"

No, the website directions I tried said to lightly whip the egg first, without adding a lot of air, so the yolk was definitely broken. I just won't bother doing that anymore, I was so disappointed. :(

Ooops - I meant below that I was buying the razors from Dollar General not Dollar Tree.

Clinton, I had thought it was the CRT but not sure, but my cashier put it through, which is as it should have been, I think people were getting a beep and the screen said that the value of the coupon exceeds the amount, or something like that - if you didn't get them, I think you could try elsewhere or with a different cashier

Thanks Diane! I was probably at the store buying the free razors from Dollar Tree when you posted about them. LOL
