clinton28328 & larindap3 - is CVS's red machine spitting out that $2.50 Colgate coupon for everyone? (I've wasn't able to pick up the Sunday paper yesterday and haven't been to a local CVS lately.)

pss3, Walmart in general has changed the matching policy. It is naw Best Price backed by Ad Match or soemthing similar. Thye did away w/ the no ad required thing. I'm guessing it's becasue people lied. I know the one time I used the no-ad policy, the cashier gave me the stink eye like she didn't believe me (don't remember what I bought, but it was a really good sale price I recall). After that , I brought the ad in (that was maybe 5 times total because I buy very few groceries at WM).

Do you use printables at Kroger and if so do you ever have trouble with them scanning? I went the other day and had a Cheerios printable and they refused it because it didn't scan. Also, I went to HT and couldn't find the johnsville chicken sausage on BOGO. I even asked the meat dept and they only had a few early in the week that were clearanced but the product wasn't on sale.

NEWS ALERT: " Some packages of Lean Cuisine ravioli, made by Nestlé, are being recalled because they may contain fragments of glass, the Food and Drug Administration said today.

The recall applies only to packages of Lean Cuisine Culinary Collection Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli, with the production codes 2311587812 or 2312587812, and the "best before by" date of December 2013, the FDA said.

Nestlé voluntarily issued the recall after three customers reported they had found glass in the ravioli. None of the customers reported injuries, the FDA said.

The recalled packages were made in November 2012, and Nestlé believes that few remain on store shelves, but could still be in customers' freezers at home."

OK, I don't go to CVS much because I can never get all the coupons/sales/extra card $'s right...but today!! With scanning my card to get the $2.50 off the cologate, having the toothpaste $.50 coupon, $4 quarterly extra card, coupons for everything else - I spent $4.88 and got $2 extra back. So, saved $33 and paid $2.88. Go me!
