Raesmom, now that I am such a football aficionado (not really) and heard that the Panthers won, I called Krispy Kreme from the airport this morning to see if they had the special deal! LOL I was too tired to stop by the time we got in, but I'm looking forward to another Panthers win soon! Go Krispy Kreme! I mean Panthers ;)

LOSLTP, yes it does include holidays but you are charged for them, so cuts down the 52 weeks slightly......as for having more than one paper at that price - didn't check, so not sure!

    In Case someone is interested
I mentioned my husband was not keen me joining SavingStar because our loyalty cards would have to be registered to get the savings and we had been burned before .
I joined as a test using only Kroger & Walmart purchases ( so I would not have to share my store cards ) .
I scanned my receipts and submitted them . I never received an email that my receipts had been received only the little message at the end of the submitting process stating the money should be in my account in 3 days ( ha-a-ha-ha I think they forgot a "zero" ) .
So I waited and waited and waited .
Since Friday, I got $$ added to my account from 2 receipts !!
3 more pending . It does take much much longer than Walmart's Savings Catcher ( 2 to 5 days ) and snap-groupon ( immediate to 1 day ) - a good practice in patience I suppose . I attempting checkout 51 - I tried for the flour , butter and sugar ones last Thursday but the offers were gone by Thursday evening !

Anyone need a 'Sunday only' N&O subscription?? Had a flyer in yest. paper with the option of 13, 26, or 52 weeks of Sun. paper for $1 ea. That's the deal I've been waiting on - have had it before, but the last couple times I checked, they would not go 'near' that price!!!

I subscribed for 52 wks. for $60.50 total - that's $52 + Tax + $4.99 activation fee - a very good deal for it delivered! Could have gone for 2 yrs. but opted not to.

meggpow - I definitely recommend calling the store manager at that store to voice your concern about one of the CSM's not knowing the coupon policy any better. Hopefully you got her name so the manager can offer her some additional training. I am very surprised it happened at that store. I shop there often (including this morning) and they always go out of their way to make the transaction as painless as possible. Maybe it was a new employee I haven't seen before (or she would have given me grief as well!). One of the managers there is Tom and he is super nice. You should really let them know about your experience.

I went with my sweet, little 3 y.o. daughter to the HT at Walnut and Tryon last Thursday night. I had a big amount of coupons and a few that weren't scanning through. When the head of customer service came by, she tried to convince me that HT will only accept 25 coupons TOTAL on any given day from a customer. I told her that I would like to see where it stated that on the corporate policy, so she brought a print out. The 25 coupon limit, as I expected, was NOWHERE! She still wouldn't let me use all my coupons, which fulfilled all of HT's other rules (no more than 3 replicates, no more than 20 will double) until communicating with someone else in the store via radio. The whole process took forever, and she didn't even apologize for the hassle. My daughter, however, was well behaved and sweet during the 20 to 30 extra minutes that ordeal took. At least I got to use all my coupons!
