Very true, Faye. When I go see the folks in Massachusetts, you can always find a good sale on Diet Coke. Food prices generally there are 10 - 15% cheaper than here too. Go figure, since where they are located is pretty remote.

Sorry to get everyone excited about cheap milk :(

Nanee Lion - I see on the ad scan for CVS from that they are showing milk for $3.49 with a $1 Extrabucks. She is located up north and we are NOT getting that sale price or the Extrabucks here in Raleigh. Sorry. :-(

As a general rule, milk and soda prices are often different for different parts of the country at CVS.

jdouglas, I read about the milk too. Seems it is supposed to print a $1.00 ECB when you buy the gallon at $3.69.

jdouglas - congrats on the new computer!

I am working on the CVS ad now for Sunday and the milk is listed in the ad as being on sale for $3.79 - not a good deal. If there is a store coupon out there I do not know about it yet. It could be that you read about the milk sale from a deals list in another part of the country. The sales are not all the sale for every CVS. Let me know if you have any more details about the milk deal because it is not listed in the ad for our area. Sorry.

Just wanted to follow up - I called the N&O to cancel citing the new rate was too high, and they offered me $1.50/wk home delivery for how ever long I wanted to pay right then. I took 26 weeks, so I'm good to go.

    Thanks again, everyone!

jdouglas13 - glad to hear the good news (about the keyboard and the N&O discount codes)! I just realized my Sunday only subscription is expiring, as well. Guess I need to take a look at the info posted!

Thanks everyone for the help with the N&O. Can I use the code online or do I have to call them?

Diane NC - yes, I did get your email. I just didn't have a working keyboard that would type more than a couple of words, but the NEW computer is up and running and I can type and everything! :)))) I will get back to you.

Finally, speaking of milk, it seems that I saw something about CVS having an ECB deal on milk starting on Sunday?? It brought the price of milk down to under $2.50, which is what made me take notice. I can't remember a gallon of milk that cheap in a long time.

chipper4800 - interesting. Their policy prohibits printable coupons for free products. I am very surprised they took it. I think you were lucky with that one! :-)
