bonniecrowe2 If you have a kroger rewards card that you use when shoopnig at kroger you get an envelope quarterly in the mail from Kroger with numerous coupons - some are "rewards dollars" for your purchases at Kroger in the past quarter ( mine is $20 this time !) and some are coupons on things you have purchased at Kroger in recently months ( My family used all of our last time and saved $270 just on the coupons and offers alone!).I never shop for items just to get the rewards. if I had , I probably would have done even better .

Unfortunately Kroger is suspending this rewards program after this mailing but I have heard rumors of a new ( big & better ??) rewards program coming soon .

I do not know if the store is offering this deal without the coupon you might want to check with your Kroger store . I do not know if I will need my coupon - I just got a 3 month supply of my longterm meds . Stay tuned - prescription deals are a favorite topic here !

Packy - thanks for the heads-up on the BOGO Dove Chocolate bar deal. Not only did the deal work for me (just paid tax), but the inside wrapper on both bars had a $1.00 coupon for Dove Promises...will definitely be using those during HT's next Super Doubles! :)

I just pop them in a freezer bag and put them in the freezer. You could also lay them out on a cookie sheet to reeze separately and then put them in a bag. Just remember they will be mushy when they defrost. I use them for smotthies so they are frozen when I add them and it takes less ice that way.

You do realize that you don't have to buy all three to get that price?

Does anyone know how to freeze strawberries? I want to get the special at Lowe's Foods, but there is no way I can eat that many strawberries before they go bad.
